You should be able to go into any convenience store (specifically 7-11 and they're all over the place) to get any type of card you need. Even xbox and ps3 cards should you desire. As for Blu, it is a good little ecig. Don't believe all of the bashing elswhere on this forum about Blu. That's all from people who are heavy vapors. I myself have Blu and liked them but moved on because they stopped taking orders when I needed more carts. At that time I wasn't refilling and didn't know how. You might also want to check out volcano ecigs. They are the same as Blu and interchangeable with Blu. Good luck my friend.

Stephra, I'm not sure if I made myself clear enough. I have a bank account, but it was recommended to me to make a new one. I don't want to pay for any account creation fees, so I might check out the prepaid debit first. I hope it's not too much work for you to read my posts.

Thanks again.

You said in the OP that your parents read your credit card statements. This led me to believe you're using a credit card that is in your parents' name. I can think of no other reason your parents should be reading your statements.

Credit card is not equal to bank account.

If you're worried about paying fees, understand that prepaid debit costs money too. Visa doesn't make those cards out of the goodness of their hearts. Many banks, however, will offer free checking if you keep a minimum balance, or open the account with a certain amount of money. It's really only a minor inconvenience, not a huge hassle. If you can fill your schedule on class registration day... setting up a checking account is much much easier! I'd personally be somewhat upset if my parents were reading my bank statements.

Then again, I fled home right after graduating high school, so we might just be coming from different angles. I wanted to be free of my parents ASAP when I turned 18. I'm guessing your parents are a lot more.. um... involved than mine were.

Either way, check out the review forums before making a decision on Blu. There are a lot of models and brands out there, and many report disappointing experiences with Blu. Be sure that you're making an informed decision!

Thanks a lot for the replies. I'm sure this will be more than enough to find a good place / way to buy Blu, and yes, I AM getting blu. My one friend used it and I enjoyed it. Their customer support is also very nice (its technically "tech support" haha).

Thanks again, Blu rocks.

Why not ask your friend to order one for you, and give him/her the cash?

I'm frankly quite surprised that no one actually answered the question. Well I think there was one answer, but it took almost 2 pages of replies before it came up.

Mine showed up as Blucigs on Bank Of America

I had to go the prepaid route as well. My credit is crap and nobody I knew had enough open on their cards to help me out. Problem is, Blu won't accept any form of payment other than a credit card.

Here's how it works: order your prepaid card online. When it comes, go to Walmart, buy a MoneyPak card and put $20 to $1,100 on it. They charge you a fee of $4.64. You need to keep your receipt. On it is your activation code. Call the toll free number on the MoneyPak card, and load the money from your MoneyPak onto your credit card. you can then use your credit card immediatly to make purchases. A bit of a hassle, but it gets the job done.

Now if only Blu would quit running out of stock...

GGRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

before you buy, do some research on these forums. Some people like the blu, but there are lots of folks who were not satisfied with it. I'm not saying either way, but I would do some research prior to purchase. Whether you decide to buy the blu or something else is up to you, but you should at least make an informed decision.
