Blue 18350's tripped?

Hey all got 2 18350's not but a couple months old. Both in different models of lava tubes suddenly dropped from about 3.8 volts to 2.7 volts. Even after charge and reading 4.1 volts on the volt meter, when put in the lava tubes (which even read 4.1v) they both just cause the lava tubes to flash. Not sure what's up with these.. any ideas? This was 2 in a week argh! One was vaping a PHX at 2.4 ohms 4.4v and the other an imist at 1.8 at 4v
