Blue Cigs from Walgreens

Just wondering if anyone has tried the Blu Cig singles (disposable type) from Walgreens. My mother in law is looking for a E cig and i have never use these before. Are they worth the $7.99 they charge for them? How is the taste, vapor production & throat hit?

you'll get throat hit in the first couple puff you get but later on it weakens and taste like nothing just like the kit so i just refund it

It would be fine to try one of any disposable just to see if vaping is something that will work - for anyone.

Most here would not recommend trying to replace a smoking whole habit with disposables nor with the real Blu and its small 1-hour charge auto batteries.

I have to admit I just picked one up. I've been doing 12mg fluid, was kind of feeling like a real ciggie for some odd reason, and it was closer than my vapor shop. I don't see it packing much more in the way of much than a standard KR8, so you're spending $8 for single use 2hr unit.

Given you can buy a semi-disposable from madvapes for $10, not so much "worth" the $8. But it should do the job for an hour or two.

BTW - the Rite-aid near me, at the register on a counter rack had what looked like a 1-battery RN4081 kit with one cartomizer. That would have twice the battery charge of a Blu.

I think getting someone to try anything is a great idea. It doesn't have to be one of the best models if the point is just to try something.

Could be a good "intro" to vaping, but it could also have the opposite effect... My mom was almost put off of vaping completely by one of those single use e-cigs... Thank goodness I shoved one of my old 510's in her hand just in time.

I bought two of the 10 dollar 510s from madvapes one was for a friend they work fine. I lost the button on mine but my friend is still going stron with his is has now been like 4 months and still going strong.

I tried one of those while both of my batteries were charging at the same time. Power outages are not good. They use johnsons creek juice, produce clouds of tastey vapor and are generally not bad for a disposable. Got me through the entire day and I tend to vape alot.

hey, i used a cheap gas station ecig to stop smoking and used it for 5 months or so before i bought an ego-t...not 1 slip up with analogs. they can do the job but ya gotta want it.
then i found this place and am accumulating mods at a fairly rapid pace,lol.
id say let her give it a go, if she likes it you can always get her something better and longer lasting.

So i finally went a picked 2 up last night. I like the taste of the menthol one. Taste more like a minty taste than menthol. I have not tried the tobacco flavor yet though. Not really a fan. Overall i think these would be great to just keep around for the emergency vape, or to use in a situation where one would not want to have to explain his or her's mod to the general public. Still performing pretty well. Think I've hit it about 50ish times and still producing a good cloud. Think i'll tell the Mother in Law to buy one of these to sample, then pick her up a Ego kit if she likes it.

The 'tobacco' Blu disposable had a kind of chocolatey coffee taste. Interesting, even a bit pleasant at first but the flavor dropped off for me rather quickly.

It's funny how the flavors can be "off" in a good way. Never had that happen before. Usually the other way around and never worth vaping again.

Expensive; poor hit; but convenient for someone who wants to buy local and not online. Some RiteAids sell 21st Century which will give a much better vapor than Blu.

I started with those a couple weeks ago. Bought a couple of them then started researching and bought a kit from Bloog. I had no issues with the ones I bought and recommended them to a few ppl to try and see if vaping interests them. I really like the tobacco flavor ones. Kind of roasted coffee bean / espresso with a little chocolate. They lasted me about 1.5 days and I normally smoked 2 packs a day. I still smoke some analogs but have dropped way off. With the blus I was under 1/2 pack. I've kinda blown it the last few days as far as analogs but until friday when I forgot my spare battery and cartos at home I'd only gone through 2 packs all week.
