blue foam dimensions

Does any expert know the right dimension to cut the foam so the drag is not so hard? With shorter cuts I get juice in my mouth. This has been a big problem for me, please help! Thanks!

Not an expert on blue foam but what model of e-cig do you have? Makes a difference on size of foam.

Cut it about the same length as the cart and just a bit wider. Yay, another vaper in Washington!!! Sorry, I got giddy.

Go to cart mods and there are alot of blue foam threads there. My thread is back a few pages but its called (my simple blue foam mods). All the dementions are there for the 510. Hope that helps

i can't get blue foam to work either. So i use beige foam, its much better. its called aquaclear size 30. it comes in bricks so you have to cut it with an exacto knife. huge improvement over the blue stuff.

Or cut a bit longer than the cart and the same width as your cart. Or, fold the foam in half. Or cut a "V" in the end that contacts the atomizer. Experiment. The goal is to get some compression on the foam to

a) match the viscosity ("thickness") of YOUR e-liquid
and
b) maximize foam contact with the bridge and wick of your 510 atomizer

It's not a "one size fits all" kind of proposition. The foam is cheap and there's a lot of it, so experiment with subtle changes in size until you find the geometry that suits YOU!

I didn't have much luck with the Marineland blue foam no matter what I did with it. I now use either poly vent filter pads (~$4 at the hardware store, enough for about 1,000 carts) or the ZFM (zero filler mod). The latter is a bit tricky to get just right but works awesome once you get it.
