Or cut a bit longer than the cart and the same width as your cart. Or, fold the foam in half. Or cut a "V" in the end that contacts the atomizer. Experiment. The goal is to get some compression on the foam to

a) match the viscosity ("thickness") of YOUR e-liquid
and
b) maximize foam contact with the bridge and wick of your 510 atomizer

It's not a "one size fits all" kind of proposition. The foam is cheap and there's a lot of it, so experiment with subtle changes in size until you find the geometry that suits YOU!
