So tonight I popped in some blue foam I ordered last week and it is absolutely amazing. By far the best flavor I have gotten out of my 510 yet. But after vaping on the cartridge for about 2 hours at a rate I normally do the cart seems to be empty. I stuck a toothpick in to gauge how much is the cart and there wasn't much left at all. Compared to the stock 510 batting I got about 6 times LESS time out of the cart with the blue foam.

I've read threads and watched videos where people say their carts will last upwards of a day. I know this is going to be different for everyone but 2 hours for a full 510 cart with moderate vaping just doesn't seem right...

What I did for the cart is I cut the foam to be the width of the cart and then I cut it so that about a third to a half of it would be filled by the foam. I put in 15ish drops in the cart without the foam and then I put the foam in, pushed it down a bit so it got saturated and then pulled it back up to be flush with the top of the cart.

Can anyone point out something I'm doing wrong?

I'm a foam user myself. The thing about it is, it makes the juice wick up to the atomizer bridge more evenly and at a constant rate. It allows for a stronger, better vapor. But because you're taking in more vapor, naturally, the juice goes away faster. On small carts like the stock 510 and the Super Mini RN4081 that I use, you gotta top-off often if you vape a lot. I just keep a tiny dropper bottle of e-liquid with me at all times in my e-cig kit, so I can top off. Seems to be a lot less trouble for me than to sit there and prepare 6 or 7 carts for the day. I just top off as needed. My lifestyle allows me to do that, and I work and have a pretty active life. If I were driving all the time, or something that wouldn't allow me to .... around with e-liquid, then I guess I would have to prepare carts in the morning.

Maybe tighten up your foam width...it'll still wick good but not more liquid. My foam is about 1 and an 1/8 of the cart...if this makes any sense :)

:) no that doesnt make sense... u just said your foam takes up 112.5% of the cart.

but ill assume u meant just 1/8th of cart... which also seems very small...
*confused*...

New York (no, not the city)
is there a mod that wicks well and vape at a moderate pace - comparable to stock?

is that asking for too much?

Well, Fluval is very cheap. Or, you can go to Dunkin Donuts, or some other coffee shop, and take some stirrer straws. I've only gone as far as the straw mod on my stock 510 carts and it works well enough for me (so far).
