I first tried the full length Blue Foam filler but had to add the straw to be able to fill it easily. It worked great, but I wanted to go even further and get the cart to hold more liquid.

So, I tried the plug. But I didn't like having to remove it each time I filled up my cart (too messy).

The one I'm using now, and the most successful mod for me, is the http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/cartridge-mods/58690-b-f-d-cart-mod.html (Blue Foam Dart Cart Mod). With this one I don't have to remove it to fill the cart. I just slip the needle of my syringe down beside the foam and fill it from the bottom. Takes less than 30 seconds to fill my cart and has almost the same capacity as the plug, but without having to remove it.

Another thing that's easy with the Dart, is it's very easy to make different size ones to accommodate thin or thick liquids. I do this by adjusting the width of the foam; ie, narrow foam for the dart will allow for larger cells and will allow thicker liquids to flow, while wider foam for the dart will compress the cells tighter providing more resistance for thinner liquids.

Cleaning is easy, too, and due to the small amount of foam to trap the liquid, there's less waste of liquid when I wash them.

Been using the Blue Foam Cart Dart Mod for a couple of months now and I'm perfectly happy with it.

The dart, plug, or straight shot all work well, depending on liquid viscosity. I personally think blue decreases flavor a bit, but it does allow for faster flow and bigger hits, so its a tossup. Once you get blue down, as with any batting, its easy money, and you can nit pick quite well. I use factory cart, white fluval, and blue, depending on unit, atty or vape I want. All work well and don't flood now that I know proper setups for my styles.. Wish I couldve said the same 6 months ago though. Getting the carts down was a PAIN! :p

i tried the blue foam also but after an all nighter going from store to store and finally finding the lipton tea bag in a 24 hour place i was glad I did, man those things just take it all to the next level, they hold so much more, never flood (IF you do not fill fully, put one less drop in so there is no standing juice) and Bamo! you got a vaper cloud for nearly 2 hours, i vape hard and couldnt get this puppy to run out.

Don't give up on the Blue Foam with just one try. As with any mod, it's a trial and error method. I must have made a dozen different fillers before I got it the way I wanted it and now it's working perfectly.
I have tried using it all day, I also noticed the blue foam seems to take away some of the flavor of the juice.I dunno maybe its just me...

Make sure to rinse the blue foam out real well before using it.
Otherwise some people report a little bit of a funny taste.

But no, it definitely should not take away any flavor.
