Hello,

Im vaping alot of Happy Joy mod's.
Its the only PTB mod that keeps me decent flavour for some refills.

The rest of the PTB mods i tried work but i still dont like the taste that all PTB mods give.

ZFM works decent for me but i maked them my own and think there is the wrong thing :D (still waiting for my order from scotty)

My question is:

With blue foam mod i get a taste , not really a burned taste i think but more from the material itself (i think).

I tried washing it with hand soap and warm water but cant get rid of the taste.
Any tips to clean this stuff very good?

Thanks

Make sure you keep the foam wet, don't let it dry out or any type of filler would burn if it drys out. Yeah, the blue foam tastes nasty when it burns. It's cheap enough to discard it after it burns and replace it with a new piece instead of washing it out. Also, push down the filler a bit and get it away from tip of the atty.
I like using the Blue Foam filler the MarineLand Bonded Filter Pad that you can buy in the Pet shop. Use the fine material. I cut it in a "T" shape. Thick on top to create a plug effect and the vertical bottom I cut narrow for wicking which leaves room in the cartridge so it holds more juice. Seems to get more mileage out of a 510 cartridge with this filler and cut.

Put a large piece in a dishwasher, someplace where it will stay put on the upper rack. Run it through a cycle and any taste should be gone.

BTW, the blue foam is tough to burn. I had a box mod that decided to short and stay on. I wasn't using it, so don't know how long it "ran" but the cartridge plastic and box mod case were both melted - the cartridge melted into a glob of black plastic. It also made a burn mark on the desk where it lay. But, the blue foam was untouched.

I didn't trust the L-ion 14500 after that much drain, so chucked it. Amazingly, though black inside the atomizer still works. I just need to get the burnt taste out of it.
