Spring, teabag, blue foam... what about steel wool?

I read the mods for the spring and blue foam and the teabags(and PTB) and I got to thinking. What about if you use steel wool like the spring was used in the spring mod?

I would think that some course steel wool would work to hold the juice well and I would think there is some corrosion resistant steel wool out there, isn't there?

So...
it would be like this..

I mean for the fil you can use a teabag or poly-fil or the blue foam just on top of the steel wool and juice held in and under the steel wool..

I would be concerned about chemical processes used to make steel wool. And if it's corrosion resistant, why? You might be inhaling some industrial grade lubricants or other vile stuff.

I tried steel wool and it worked pretty good but it was hard to get clean without destroying it. It didn't last very long and didn't seem worth the bother after a while. It didn't corrode. I think the PG stopped that. It just needed a good cleaning before it was usable.
