Wow, that's awesome.

I wish I could do something like that. No matter how many electronics I'm surrounded by, I could never, ever get along with electricity or something electronic.

personal experience indicates that I have a 90% chance that I get shocked no matter how careful I am. I think I'm just generating too much static or something. :(

You are more talented then I, if an LED ever goes out on me I will just have to learn to live without it! :) Glad you got it going though...

I did live with it for sometime but I had this one replaced im glad I can finally get it working correctly. I have a spare Green led now if you need one repaired :)

I havent done too much solder work in my life in the past but ive seen enough of it done where I can do it on my own. But lately I have had practive at work fixes charge ports on blackberries so doing this didnt seem like too much of a task. The hardest part was resoldering the led back on.

I couldnt apply to much heat on it or risk melting the LED itself so I had to preball the bottom points and solder them sideways to the LED assembly :)

Everything works and im vaping on it atm

They've been around for quite some time now. ;) They use them a lot in those mini-fountains that cycle water through them. I see them at Fry's all the time.

Can you imagine someone taking a drag from that to get all of the color changes? ROFL!

They even use them for keyboard mods for the backlight.

Here's a site here that has them. $1.59 for a 5mm changing LED light at the bottom. :)
