Diamond Series Black Shorties wuith Puple LEDS - is it just me?

Love the new Diamond series shhorty batts. Bought 2 x black with purple leds, 2 x matte black with blue leds, 2 x white with purple, 2 x white with blue. No problems with any except the black with purples leds.

One stopped working properly within a couple of days. It was replaced by the good folk at V4L and I also bought a 3rd one. Now another one has started to malfunction. Every so often it doesn't work on an inhale or two, then works again. It's quite intermittent but happens at least 2-3 times per vape session. I've tried resetting the post, have done this a few times, makes no difference to the problem at all. I also find them quite 'airy' to use, perhaps sticking a needle in the holes to raise the post has widened the holes?

I love these batts, so am considering trying another variation, perhaps the matte black with purple leds, or just sticking with the blue leds.

Wondering if anyone else has the diamond series shorty black with purple leds, whether they have had any problems or they work fine? And if anyone has the matte blacks with purple leds, if they have had any issues?

No issues on my end Ms. Katz, but only have two of the black matte with purple led (prefer the red). Have you tried resetting the switch on it? Have noticed that the black mattes no matter what the led do require the fix more often overall than the gold or glossy black...

Bought two diamond series, regular and XL, and both stopped working right in the middle of a cart. I am sticking to the regular batteries.

Tried the switch reset method and everything else I have read in these forums. Nothing works. They are D E A D. I have many other batteries from V4L and have absolutely no complaints. Just those Diamond series.

Did you already send them back to V4L Rick sir? If not, I'd be willling to take a look at them...

When I get new batteries I put them in rotation with about 10-12 other batteries and by the time these quit working the warranty had passed. The XL battery was bounced off the wall and destroyed while the regular has long been in the landfill. I just might save any other batteries to send to you Morandir.

I have had issues with chrome blue, then green LED. Both went back to V4L. This current chrome with white LED is hanging in there. I hope I didnt speak too soon. The blue LED diamond had a hard switch and would not vape without puffing on it hard. (even after reset of the switch per Morandir) The green LED diamond had a sensitive switch which any noise or bump on the table the LED was comming on.


Edit: All were regular....

Hmm thanks everyone, looks like this is not an issue with a particular colour, length & led colour then.
