Is the blue LED easily readable in direct sunlight?

I've never had a problem with it. Some people say the red is easier to read, but I think it depends on how bright the sunlight is that you are referring to. On all of them if you're standing in a desert at high noon there will be some reflection on the screen itself. After you've had it for awhile, you probably won't look at the screen that much anyway, since you memorize the functions you use most often. It's probably not safe (although much more than texting), but I often change the voltage up or down with one hand while on the freeway. I sometimes realize I want it a little warmer or cooler just at that moment.

I just don't really like the color red so when presented the option of getting a different color that I did like, I took it! I don't really have anything to compare it to but it's pretty easy on the eyes and I haven't had any trouble (over the last 24 hours that I've had it lol) seeing the led in different types of light, sunlight included.

BLUE in sunlight? It works but you have to really look at it. GREEN is the best of both worlds.. Its bright but now as glaring as the RED... BLUE is cool though and if that's the color you want-buy it.. ...Since it doesn't have the glare of the other two colors the BLUE numbers have the sharpest outlined clarity...

I hear a Lot of talk about Reading LED's in Sunlight.

Has No One Mastered the Fine Art rotating their Provari so it is Shaded by the Tube Body?

It is a tough concept.....(grin). Perhaps people are too used to LCD's where they think that at a certain angle the display will disappear.... :D
