what ratio of pg:vg do you recommend for bobas? I order from virgin vapors and always get 100% vg but im unsure of whether or not aliens vg will be too thick or not.

Now the real waiting begins know as Airing and Steeping. Ordered 30 ml last Friday and it arrived today. Sure hope that $18.82 total turns out not to be a total disapointment as most of my DIY juices are less than $2.50 for 30 ml and the few others I purchase are less than $10 for 30 ml.. With all the ingredents I have on hand I know I can make it vapable but then I have many vapable juices already a few of which I truely enjoy.

My boba's and gorilla juice arrived today, too.... 18ml each, guess I have to let the "age" a bit, not sure if I ttied both or just gorilla juice, blindly out one in the tank at first. ... if it was both, they both taste like raisin bran with a hint of graham cracker on the first one (not that its a bad thing, still had some green apple and menthol mix on the wicks, surprisingly tasty....
Yeah, both have the raisin bran taste (not complaining, its more the bran flakes than raisin) with boba's having a hint of graham cracker every now and then.... I thiught I got a hint of banana once with the gorilla juice, but it could have been imagined.... now onto the blend 4....
I got a bottle of AVE Gorilla Juice in a swap off the PIF forum. I didn't expect much and in fact when I first tried it, I swear it tasted like banana baby food. After a few more vapes/letting it kinda soak in my wicks over several hours..WHAM! I am seriously in love with this stuff.
To me, and don't laugh, I swear it takes like a Mc Donald's hot apple pie. Weird, I know. It just has this different taste..the blend of the honey, banana, raisin (combined tastes to me like the apple filling) then a soft exhale of the graham cracker/vanilla (?), reminds me of the pie crust. Cranked up a little in the VV throws off the warm temp that also reminds me of it. Either way, I'm hooked.
People say GJ is the same as BB except banana added..is this true? Also I hear BB is known to clog tanks? My GJ hasn't clogged my tank at all and was wondering anyone else's experience. I will DEF be buying more of this stuff. It's crazy good.

Yes, GJ is BB with added banana flavors.
BB is polymorphic in that it can taste different with each exhale. Some people get brownies, some get raisin bran, others get honey graham crackers, some even get vanilla (I never do). One dude here even said it tasted like shiitake mushrooms, but in that case, it had to have been him and not the juice.

Since they reorganized their website and got a new CC processor, the store has been open for longer hours with much more of the juice in stock and available. For example, I recently purchased 100 mls of BB at 8:45 PM. So it's not the fabled, hard-to-acquire juice as it once was.
And yes, it will gunk up wicks and coils very, very quickly. I use a carto tank and I get about a week to a week and a half before I need to swap it out for a fresh carto.

Changed the head on my pt mini, subtle hints of vanilla on exhale, a weaker raisin bran taste overall and the random bits of graham cracker still.... I like it as it is now and even yesterday, but finding I can't vape it all day currently....
And the gorilla juice smells like banana now but no banana taste yet.... I'm gonna end up vaping it all to see how it changes before it fully ages, I think....

Skymutt, State put it perfectly. The thread could end here. He speaks the truth.I find Boba's Bounty and Gorilla Juice from AVE to be "really good" right out of the mailbox. Having said that, it does go from "really good" to "excellent" after 2 to 3 weeks steeping. I have had nothing but positive experiences with them and everything is handled professionally in my opinion. To me, its a win/win situation. YMMV (in terms of taste, which is subjective). Peace.

Alien Visions E-Juice
Picked up 6ml each of Hype, Boba's Bounty, and Gorilla Juice back in late July or early August and left them to steep for a while. I usually won't try anything until it's had ample time to settle and meld, for fear of tainting my impression of an immature juice. Tried Hype a month later and hated it. There is some after taste that I get that I just don't like. Wasn't sure if it was too soon or not, so I've held off on trying the other two, until yesterday with BB.
Loaded up an Evod and gave it a try: Eh, OK, not great. Definite sweetness, but no real flavor that could detect. Pleasant, yes, but I couldn't figure out what it tasted like. Put it down and decided to bring it with me on the commute to work today and that's when it hit me... Once I allowed my brain to stop trying to figure out what I was tasting, I had a hard time putting it down. Still don't know what the Hell it is, but it's the throat hit and the feel of the vapor in my mouth and throat that is making me want more. It's not that it's creating any more vapor than I've experienced with other juices in the past, it's just that the 'feel' is different, more satisfying, so to speak.
Sure, if I wasn't using an Evod with a standard coil on a basic ego battery, maybe I could tell what it was that I was tasting, but this is the way I vape: I want convenience, simplicity, and portability when I vape; I don't want to turn it into a project of sorts. I do think that I will switch the coil to a low resistance one or put BB in my mini T3S with a lower resistance coil (lately, I love these things!) or put my Evod on my Spinner to fiddle with different voltages. Neither of which will really make a difference though... Because I just ordered a 30ml bottle.
Perhaps, I should revisit the Hype, but not before I give the Gorilla Juice a go.

Now, mind you, when I ordered from AVE I had no idea that those not designated by a 'PG' were 100% VG. I have NEVER vaped a VG juice before (have always had either an equal or PG-higher ratio), so I do not know if the 'feeling' that I get from BB is because of that or just that the flavors are blended so well, that my throat is enjoying it because my tongue isn't taking over. Very odd!
never felt av juices needed or benefitted from steeping... largely because I never believed that they were that complex... no one really made complex recipes until a few years ago and AV has been cranking out those juices longer... plus Ben admitted it was relatively simple.

Yeah, I broke down and ordered 30ml to see what the hype was about. It's delicious--that coming from someone who doesn't vape tobacco flavors all that often--but not the miracle that some make it out to be.
everytime i buy bobas bounty or gorilla juice. its all i vape. It feels like im in a vaping limbo of awesomeness. when im out of my coma, reality sets in and its usually bland and fruity.
