Boge 3.0 carto at 4.1?

I've been using a standard boge 3.0 carto in my mini sub tank with gorilla juice and when I check the ohms from the provari, it reads 4.1. Is this normal?

Hmm, I don't think it should be up over by 1.1ohms. Then again, you might be getting an inaccurate reading. Try a standalone voltage meter, perhaps.

On the Lavatube, there's an option to get voltage under load, and I see some strange numbers once in a while (2.9v when I'm bumped up to 5.5v on a 3.0ohm atty).

4.1 sounds more like a voltage reading than a resistance reading. Boge cartos are generally accurate in the resistance readings as advertised. It's time to invest in an inexpensive volt-ohm meter. Every vaper needs one and they are under $20 bucks for a VOM good enough for basic testing.

Thanks, it's the weirdest thing. I put in another boge from another tank and it reads 3.0 on the dot. This one fluctuates from 4.1 to 4.0 and 3.9.

did you check it with or without juice in the carto ??? i have seen liquid change the ohm reading several times

it's in a tank so i couldn't check it without the juice. It's now varying from 3.3 all the way to 4.2. Maybe it's a dud carto? It's vaping real well though.

Hey if it vapes well, I wouldn't worry about it.

It could be a dud, maybe not.

Are you chain vaping? Sometimes if you take drags too quickly, resistance temporarily builds up.
