Can you post a closeup pic?

The fact that the battery device is not firing seems to indicate the connection between the cartomizer is not adequate with the Zmax. Is the cartomizer in the tank inserted correctly, allowing enough room of the connector pin on the carto enough room to screw into the Zmax?

Here is the picture P1050558.jpg

I couldn't screw it down more.

That's a larger gap than normal. The tank should be able to slide down farther toward the battery unless it has a flange preventing that, but that is just an aesthetic issue. As long as the cartomizer's hole is not blocked by the bottom cap it should be able to get enough juice from the tank.

There's definitely an issue with the connection between the cartomizer and the zmax's connector pin if it will not screw in farther than that. The zmax connector probably is adjustable, but I'm not familiar enough with it to offer advice on doing that.

Thanks, Baditude, Datalux. I have a box of F16 cartos and all have the same problem. So I guess these carto does not fit ZMAX center post. I ordered 510-510 extension to give another try.

PS. I realize that I have the version of ZMAX with 14mm and 8 pips on the slant.

PPS. Thanks guys. Everything works well now. I finally realized that I didn't screw the cartomizer hard enough. Just one question, what is the optimal Voltage for 1.7 omh coil?

Everyone one is different - I like 7-8 watts but others may like it higher.

BTW, if there anyway to test if my Sigelei ZMAX is faulty? Its LCD and the menu do work well.

Other than the threading issue, if everything works as advertised, I think your good to go. No real tests that I know of....
