So after less than 2 weeks my KR808D-1 is giving me attitude. It only works every 3-4 four times I press the button. One of the batteries did this from day 1 now the "good" battery is doing it too. FSUSA said they would exchange the first battery, now I have to ask if they will exchange both. Anywho, I think I'm ready to take the next step in vaping to make sure I don't go back to analogs out of frustration. I don't care if it doesn't look like an analog and don't care that much about the price (I know the Leo is more than the Riva and the Provape is more than twice the Leo) I just want the best aside from mods, not very interested in mods. I like a long lasting battery, lots of vapor and not too much TH. I can adjust my juice to fit the ladder two. So can ya'll give me pros and cons of both or even if there is another model you like better? Photo comparisons would be appreciated too. Thanks!

BTW - Can I easily add a jewel to the bottom of the Provape like the Leo? Yes, I'm a girly girl. :D

Since I own (and like) both of these PVs, I suppose that I am an appropriate person to answer your question. [Other veterans are welcome to chime in, of course.]

First: The ProVape-1 is a mod (i.e., a housing for a generic battery, in this case the 900 mAh 14500). So, based on your statement, "not very interested in mods," this one is not for you. You can always change your mind, of course. The ProVape-1 is a very good mod: extremely reliable and sturdy, although a bit large and heavy.

If you do decide to go with a mod, I urge you to give consideration to a variable voltage one. It provides optimum flexibility, allowing you to set the intensity of the vape precisely to your preference ... and vary it depending on atomizer, e-liquid, and mood. Three VV models in particular that might be appealing to "a girly girl": the low-mAh, bic-lighter-sized $65 Little Sister-VV (available in pink for $75) ... the higher-mAh, much larger $109 Joker-AV (available in purple) ... and the brand-new, long and slender $80 Infinity.

You can learn more about the VVs and other mods in my Wonderful World of Mods in the ECF Library.

Now the 800 mAh $50 Leo: The first thing to know about it is that it is large: 153 mm long and 15 mm in diameter. It's shown here (on the left) next to the similar diameter, but much shorter 118 mm eGO (original 650 mAh version).

The second thing to know about the Leo is that it is not compatible with anything else. [You can't use the Leo battery with 510 or 306 atomizers or 510 or Kr8 cartomizers ... and you can't use the Leo atty with any other battery.]

I'm not trying to talk you out of it. The Leo is my favorite PV to date. I just want to be sure you know what you'd be getting into. I described the Leo in some detail (with lots of photos and others' videos) – including how much I love it – in this review.

For more about the fat batts (of which the Leo and eGO are examples), check out this article. Supplement that by visiting BreezEsmokes, which happens to carry most of the models that have come out since I wrote that article.

Don't hesitate to contact me with follow-up questions!
