Hi ColKurtz, welcome back to vaping. I have one of these, and I like it for my purposes. One thing I have read several times, is that you need to be careful/gentle in putting the bottle/needle assembly back in. There is a little funnel at the top of the bottle space, that is intended to help guide it in. The bottle is a snug fit. I find that rotating the bottle back and forth helps guide the needle in.

There are variations within the 2.1 series, some seem to come with spare bottles, some do not. Some people seem to have had a problem with the bottles (or the needle cap) breaking. vape on!

I've had my Boge Revolution V2.1 for about 3 weeks and the plastic at the bottom of the needle is already cracked. I actually think it was barely cracked when I received it, and it now is cracked all the way through and leaks like crazy.

Where can I find a replacement needle?

I did find the whole bottle/needle assembly for sale, but I didn't think it was worth paying for the whole assembly when I just need a new needle or two

TIA.

www.elietevaporworks.com has the full assembly.

One of my needles cracked where it fits over the bottle nib as well.
I just wrap mine with teflon tape from the bottle threads all the way up to the metal needle after I've filled the bottle. I can reuse that same piece of tape many times. It'll keep ya leak-free.

Like jameth and smokingbullet, I find that the Revolution requires a considerably stronger draw to get a good hit, vs. standard 510 batt or eGo. It's just such a tight fit and not much air goes through. Would be nice if Boge would make the air channels a little larger.

I might try to file them a little larger. Anyone try that?

I did; makes a big difference! If using a Dremel, I'd start off with only 2 cuts rather than enlarging all four slots. If you find you still want a much lighter draw then do the other two slots. Keep in mind that the Dremel cutter will leave fairly large cuts; take that into consideration. Also make sure you clean out the threads as there will be lots of metal dust after cutting.

I cut 2 of my air slots today wider/deeper, helped it quite a bit. I have been used to higher watts while vaping, and I got the Boge Rev to be a more portable solution with no extra bottles/batts/stuff to carry. I was thinking it's less vapor was due to the 3.7-ish voltage. I took the (included) carto off, and put it on a Darwin to measure the resistance, it hit quite a bit better. I could move Darwin down to 3.7 volts, and it still hit better than when it was on the Boge Rev.

I have a Dremel, but wanted to be a little more slow and controlled. I used a hacksaw. It's blade is also thicker than the original slots. I used it gently on the "pull direction" only. The Boge collar is plastic, so it's easy to cut. I just cut the two opposing slots a bit, it made quite a difference. I will use it like this awhile and see.

It's a little uglier, but this is my "working outside" vape, so I don't care.

I have a question about it. Sorry if it was answered before. Want to go to bed soon and can't catch up right now. When I press on the button all the light light up but only one shines after I let go does that mean I am in the bottom 1/3 or the battery? Is there protection on the battery so I cån leave it charged at night or does that hurt the battery from being over charged. Also is there a place to get back up needles, I already broke my needle :( I getto riged it but I think it is better with a new one. Thanks all. Just sent my primary pv in for reparis today and learning this one so far not having the best luck.

My understanding of the lights is that they register level while holding the button. So three lights while vaping means you still have a good strong battery.

Here's a spot that has the bottle/needle kits in stock:
Elite Vaporworks

Thanks. :) Any clue if it is safe to over charge it by leaving it plugged in at night.

Should be OK...it has LiPoly batteries more like what's in your cell phones/ipods/etc. There's also likely a regulator built into the charger part.

I've done it myself for overnight charges. I do keep all my chargers sitting on a large glass surface for a little extra safety.

Anytime you'll be away for a while unplug it :)

Okay so when the battery gets lower will it only 2 or 1 light light up when I press the button?

Yep, 2, 1, then no lights when its dead... flashy lights will still work though if you flick the switch up... even though its useless (HealthCabin claim it can be used as a flashlight ROFL)

Not sure about vv

Grrr mine went from 3 lights to being dead :(. Is it okay to use it as a passthrough when it is charging or does that ruin the battery?

It is not a true passthrough, as in vaping it from absolute dead or with no battery in it at all, but after you give it a few minutes to get a head start, you can vape it while it is charging.

EDIT, missed your earlier question. Easiest way to up the watts, is to lower the resistance of the atty/carto. I have used as low as 1.7 ohm on mine, it worked much better than the 3 ohm cartos I received with it.
