I figured out where the leaking is coming from and it's on the draw back after squeezing the bottle. With a 306 there is not much surface area for extra juice to go....ultimately it slowly creeps down the 306 hole and onto the needle assembly and then subsequently goes everywhere. Now that I've tried it with a 510 the leaking Is less bc even if I overfilled the juice can still lay in the 510 housing as opposed to the 306 which has no housing at all. That was a ..... to find but also I had ton realize it's not a reo, so that means the extra juice won't go back into the bottle , it will just flow down the side. I didn't find this issue out of being smart lol , I got lucky when I saw the outside of the bottle was completely soaked during a squeeze while the bottle was assembled in the unit. So that's something you guys want to check out if you're having huge leaking issues like I was

based on my last comment, i'm completely done with this non-sense. I thought this would be a good all around device. A device that i can bring anywhere, with a full battery (down the shore, snowboarding, fishing) and all it does is leak on me. It's not a device failure, it's a "me" failure .
PM me if you want to buy it before it goes in the classifieds. I want it out of my life before I break it in half. I'd rather drip and drive while drinking a coffee in one hand, and shifting gears in the other, than use this thing. it's the most unreliable device i've ever used.

I got another one today. Nhaler.com was out of them, so I went looking. evcigarettes.com had some that were listed as the newer 1400mah. It was priced a little bit higher, but with a 10% off coupon and 20 ml of free juice it was USD $60 shipped. I was not familiar with their juice, this was for a friend, so I guessed at a couple.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that it came with a spare needle. I have had no problems, but I know that some have. I was displeased to measure one of the cartos it came with at 4 ohms??? With a 3.7-ish device, cartos that high will never work well. I'll trade him some 2 ohm ones for them, HR works well (and preferred) in my main device, Darwin.

This is for a friend that is a heavy smoker. He does not require a mini size, he's tried several different flavors of mine. As long as he learns the routine about squonking it, and never letting the carto dry out, I think he'll do fine. The combo of big battery life and 10ml of juice I think make this a good first PV, as well as an outdoor PV (my main use). Those two things right there can be a big source of frustration when starting out. I wish they did not include such HR cartos with these. A beginner will not know about trying LR, and just think the whole thing was a waste. I doubt you could get enough vapor to quit smoking with 4 ohm carto at 3.7-ish VDC.

This was my first experience with evcigarettes.com but I have to say they were top-notch. Their site says orders placed before 2pm EST will ship the same day. I ordered at about 11am CST, within the hour I had a flurry of emails giving status. Three days later it arrived from Florida, having traveled across half of the USA.

Any reports of the 2.2. The 2.1 is totally fail IMHO. I wish boge has a 2.1 to 2.2 trade up program. Was thinking of getting a couple of these to give to my smoker friends. But the indicator still does not work after I sent it back to nhaler :( and the feeder is strage. I wish they worked better.

No new version that I've heard of. I'd be interested to know as well.

I still use mine a good bit and no major problems here...of course it's not my PV of first choice but even if I didn't use the juice feeder part I'd personally find it worth $50 bucks. Bottom juice feeders that work any better do tend to cost 3 times more and in my 'opinion' don't have as nice a battery/charging set-up.

I've enjoyed mine most with this setup:
Low Profile 510 > 801 adapter.

1.7 Ohm 801 atomizer (currently a Beauway (sp?) but I'm not stuck on that particular brand for any reason).

I put a feeder tube in mine (cut and wrapped one end of a tube cut from a Windex bottle with teflon tape and shoved it inside the bottle nib from the inside).

I use an all PG mix.

I use mine daily, and more on weekends. With a 2 ohm Boge carto, it works for me. I have now purchased two additional for newbie friends, and they are doing well with it, also. For new people, it does help that they don't have to disassemble it to charge it. Tilt 'n shoot isn't that hard, and they're getting a week out of a carto easily.

Guess everyone has different luck with different mod :( Glad it worked out great for you. Want to hear about the 2.2. It might be that I am expecting the cheap 50 buck mod to work as good as the 230 buck mod I have. But the indicator lights act funny and the thing feeds strange right or just my luck?

Not sure about the lights. I don't pay much attention to mine to be honest. I push the button and vape. Every once in a while I put it on the charger.

Yes, the feeder does take some practice to get right. I think Boge really intends for the thing to be used with their own Vertical Coil cartomizers, where feeding precision isn't really a big priority. Just tilt the thing and wet the carto every once in a while. Mine came with some pretty high resistance cartos that do work, but just weren't my cup of tea.

I chose to try regular atomizers instead, which requires a better feeder, or more patience in tinkering with this one. It did take me some pidding to find a good spot for me, but I did get lucky. Guess I just live in a good climate for this thing (heat/humidity/atmosphere-pressure/altitude/etc).

These days the one thing that bugs me about it, I also like. The finish. On other mods, if you get a tiny amount of liquid on them you probably never notice. On this thing...the rubbery finish makes a fraction of a milliliter seem like a major leak! The material is very light and feels good in my hand though.

At first I thought I had major leaks at times, and later realized that I had just flooded my atty and the rubbery finish made less than a drop seem like a whole bottle of liquid had been lost! Over time I got the hang of it though...it's rarely an issue at all unless I leave a fully primed atty attached and sitting in a hot place for a long time. The heat thins the liquid, and sometimes it falls back down and floods the cup then sweats back up through the air slots. It 'seems' like a LOT of juice, but really it's not even a single drop...it's the finish. If the same thing happened on a rougher cut aluminum or textured plastic chassis...it would probably go totally unnoticed.

It's funny, that three Boge Rev 2.x users here are also Darwin users. I don't know what it means, just noticed... Roland, with LR cartos, the Revolution works very well for a fixed-voltage device. Like most devices it requires a little bit of a learning curve, but for me it was easier to deal with than my first Ego-like device.

I tend to ignore the lights as well. I know this is not a regulated device as the Darwin is, I presume that over the life of the charge the voltage is going down. Not a problem, I charge it every night, it has plenty of batt to get through a day.

I would recommend completely wetting the carto for it's first use. Drip a bunch, use a syringe, whatever works for you.

Don't poke the end of your thumb into the bottle, that may be why people pop them open. Mine has never done that. Trying using the pad of your thumb, and only push it slowly (while tilted) until your thumb hits the cutout.

Keep the carto wet! It's better to overdo it than underdo it (not true with an atty). With the same flavor, a carto can last for weeks. After I have taken a few hits, I tilt and shoot, then dry-hit it, to clear the gurgling, then let it wait until the next time I'm ready for a hit.

If/when there is a newer version, I'll probably get another of these for myself if there is a price drop. Because it is so light and plastic, I am very conscious of potentially breaking it, but I lanyard it all the time, has not been a problem. If the old one gets dumped at USD$20 or $30, I'll get one, just to have a spare. I've bought three so far, given two away.

Cheers nanovapr.

Keeping the resurrectors wet has been the only minor drawback to these cartos. They hit very well on eGo batts hence the name lol, gets you using the old eGo gear you've got lying around in your dead and buried drawer.

Can you lie the Revolution down without fear of leaks? Also, should I Teflon tape the needle assembly even if it doesn't have visible cracks?

Roland, I only fill the bottle just under half-way. If you fill it more than that, if you lay it down flat, the needle will be below the level, and it will try to drain. This isn't a flaw, it's just physics. A very thick liquid perhaps would not as much as a thin one.

I see that several have had needle assemblies that cracked, but mine (and the two I got for friends) have not yet had them. It won't hurt to Teflon tape the threads and popped-in cap assembly, it will slow you down for filling it. Done properly, Teflon tape is stretched on, and isn't intended to be re-used, so done properly, you probably should use fresh Teflon tape each time.

There's been reports of bent needles, etc, but make sure you have the cap snapped all the way on straight, you shouldn't have a problem. Don't just push it back in there, there is an inverted funnel to guide it up in there. Rotate the bottle back and forth a quarter a turn while you slowly insert it, it should find the funnel and go right in. It's not hard, just be gentle with it. Once you do it a few times, it makes a slightly different sound when the needle has started in the funnel, you can recognize that. My first one hasn't leaked yet, I lay it on it's side every day. Good luck, let us know how you get along with it.

I haven't had anything go wrong with mine. I went through one needle only because I wasn't careful when replacing the bottle...my fault. I did expand the air slots when I first got mine and everything has been fine ever since. Never applied any tape, never had leaking, nothings wrong; I'm lucky I guess?
Does anyone know if Boge will be coming out with a newer version of the 2.1? I've heard so many say they will but I haven't heard anything yet.

SmokingBullet, I sawed two of my slots out, based on your experience. I may not have had to do it, really, because that was early on with it, and I was trying to make the 3 ohm Boge cartos make more vapor. Turns out that 2 ohm Boge fixed it quite a bit. I spoke with a vendor a couple of weeks ago, inquiring about more Revolutions, he was out. He said that about 20 days they should be hitting. No info about what the changes are.

Thank you for the information. Somehow I believe that the new batch of Rev's will have larger air slots and maybe a deeper well so all carto fit well. I'm also hoping they will remove the alien light LOL. At least that's what I'm hoping for.

Love My Revolution V2.1. Had it for about a month but I've had some issues. The draw, used a Dremel cut-off to make the air slots bigger (do this with caution! There isn't a lot of material to work with). Dropped a few times, once the case popped open and the positive wire to the 510 adapter came off. I had to re solder it. I thought that I had messed it up but turns out that my blob of solder was touching the buttons circuit board. Added a small piece of electrical tape to prevent contact.

For new needles I go to my local pharmacy and get 20 gauge needles for 25 cents each. They fit perfect on a bunch of used 10 ml bottles that I have.

Some of the carto's that I've ordered just don't work with my R V2.1. That's a bummer but I've got other pv's where they'll have a home :)

The button ..... that has been an issue. Doesn't always fire when I want to. Thought of changing it but it's a four post button and I have yet to find one that would be suitable without all kinds of modding.
