I got a 3.7V Hogmod bf last week. I decided that I liked it, but 3.7V is just too weak for me, even with lr atties. I bought a VV Bogger, burl and ebony, from the Classies a few days ago, can't wait until it gets here. I have already ordered some 8ml Nalgene bottles from Amazon and tubing on Ebay for a bunch of bottles.

I just got my bogger this weekend and I love it. View attachment 110235. My only issue is that it's getting more and more difficult to get the door off. It was tight to begin with and it's getting worse. I actually had to use a screwdriver to pry it off the last time I changed the battery. I'm guessing it's the heat and humidity causing the door to swell. I'm planning on getting some fine grade sandpaper at HD later today to take a bit off the top and bottom. Any other ideas?

Got my Bogger today. Could anyone tell me how long the batterys take to charge ? It's a VV and I'm really dumb when it comes to this stuff but I ordered the LR cartomizers with it, which I didn't know you can't use too high of voltage with them. So now I'm waiting on some different 3.0 cartos.

The screw to adjust the voltage doesn't state which voltage your at so I have NOOO idea what I'm doing. HELP!!!. I don't even know If I have the batterys sitting right in the charger.

How can you tell which end of the battery is the positive post ?

Does the charger take only 2 batterys or 4 ?

I apologize for all of the ?? but I need to learn spent a good amount of money on this not to mention it looks awesome.

Oh another ?. When you take a hit does the juice automatically feed into cart/atty, or only when you squeeze the bottle ?

Thanks to anyone who can help me.

What kind of charger do you have? The batteries usually go negative side down againt a spring or springloaded piece of metal. If they are 18650's, they can take a while. A multimeter will help you determine the voltage as well as testing ohms on atties and cartos. You can get one very inexpensively here: http://www.harborfreight.com/7-function-multimeter-98025.html. This is the one I have, and it works well for my needs. It's very easy to use. You can search the forum for instructions on how to use it.

How can you tell which end of the battery is the positive post ?

The negative end is flat without much detail. The positive end will usually have a button or a buttonlike top, even if it is a flat top batt.

Does the charger take only 2 batterys or 4 ?

Depends on the charger. Don't stack them whatever you do.

If you are using a carto, fill it beforehand. Instead of topping it off, you'll be doing it from underneath. If using an atty, just squeeze until you see juice just barely coming out of the atty and vape, just like dripping. When you squeeze the bottle, draw on the mod, and you'll get more juice entering the atty or carto. You'll get the hang of it. If it gurgles, you squeezed to much juice up. Hope this helps. :)

Thanks to anyone who can help me.

They're 18350s. Which I assume still takes awhile. I didn't stack them so I'm good there. As far as negative/positive post I was right just wanted to be sure as I've never seen or used batteries like this.

Have a Harbor Freight right by me gonna go grab one of those.

Now just have to wait then wait some more.....lol :(

Thank You my4jewels HAPPY VAPING...

Let us know how it's going for you! I ordered a VV Bogger about a week ago, so I should have known it's be 18350's.

Umm It's not at least not yet. I charged up two batteries popped them in the box and used a carto (Boge LR cartomizer). Bought them when I purchased the box. Anyway I get some vapor but not plumes. Something isn't right I know there should be more vapor. No matter what setting I have it at.

Then I put a Vapage AMG Hybrid Bottom Feeder atomizer on it. It was a suggestion elsewhere on this forum for a Bogger VV mod in the post and it worked. Nothin no vape no power nothing.

As I said in previous post I have some 3.0 ohm cartomizers on order, but that'll be a few days, not sure where to go from here. I'm sure it's not the mod, but I'm thinking I need to go and purchase that multimeter. If there something I'm missing please let me know. As I said complete Noob (not to vaping but VV) Thanks.

That doesn't sound right, unless you voltage isn't adjusting properly. A multimeter will help you determine if the voltage is really working the way it should. If you have extra money a voltage indicator will be much easier to test your mod. Like this one: Voltage Meter. This is the one I have. It's great because it has a long bottom to fit inside the connector of a mod with a drip cup. You could email Shan and ask her when she is going to be making the next batch. If you're vaping VV, it's a good idea to have a multimeter and a voltage indicator.

And this is why it is called an APV..... "Advanced Personal Vaporizer"..... Lets be very specific about the word "ADVANCED"..... These devises are not for beginners in no way shape or form to say the least.

It would seem to me that questions like these should have been asked prior to the purchase of an advanced unit..... Not to mention all the posts on this forum where the same questions have been asked and answered at least a dozen times, (just in the last few months), alone....

I am in no way trying to be mean, insensitive, cruel, or rude..... When you are dealing with something, that in the past, has caused harm to someone because of not doing the proper research and not knowing about the use of an advanced unit like these, you should at least know what tools you will need and know how to properly charge and maintain the batteries that are put in them before it is even turned on, not to mention, before it is even purchased!!!!!

Please keep in mind that this is my opinion and from the way I see the misuse and wreckless abandon of which some people vape in our world, it is no wonder why government is calling for tougher regulations on the vaping community......

OK. Just ordered a voltage indicator and multimeter from RTD Vapor. It'll take a few days to get here, but shipping was really cheap $1.95. Anyway once I get em might have a couple more ???. Hope thats ok. For now Thank You so much.

I apologize if I came off a little stern.... Sarcasm was not what I was going for and I also reworded part of my original response. I just think, (again, this is my opinion), when it comes to putting batteries in something that is put near your face or yourself in general, you should at least have the knowledge that it could blow up and injure oneself dramatically.... Just from the comment you made about not knowing which end of the battery was negative or positive tells me, (again, this is my opinion), you shouldn't even have purchased the unit, much less use it, until you knew the basics of batteries alone!!!!! If you had truely done just a little research you would have known to atleast know how to distinguish positive from negative on a battery..... I would suggest going back to maybe an eGo type pv in the mean time until you have some basic knowledge of batteries and APV's.....

You might want to take a look through these posts and they will give you an idea of where I am coming from here.....

The VV Bogger ships at 4V, and the potentiometer (controlled by the screw) seems to be about 180 degrees per half volt. Or so it seems to me. Usually I just go by taste, but on finicky cartos like Kangers it may be a good idea to use a voltmeter.

The AMG hybrids worked best for me, you may have gotten a dead atty. I know I had one that died after about a week, just stopped firing. Not sure if you can do anything about that myself. Did you remove the little rubbery washer at the bottom of the AMG? There was one on mine.

The 18350 batteries take about 1-2 hours to fully charge on my Pila charger. Since they're stacked and it uses a fairly decent regulator, you can get some great battery life. Usually I get about 8-10 hours at 4ml a day. The ones Marcus ships are flat top, so the positive end is the one with the grooves in it.

If you use a carto, fill it up first. If you use an atty, put in a couple drops on the first use. Squonk to refill. Make SURE when you refill the bottle you take the tube off the steel tube slowly and put it on the same way. The tube is attached to the bottle cap as you can see when you fill it, and if it slides it can leak or not fill properly.

One last tip, I've noticed that sometimes I have to squeeze the bottle and hold for a few seconds until I see a little juice pool around the atty (a drop or two). This helps when you taste any burning.
