Boiling Cartomizers: Do I have to clear out all the liquid in a cartomizer before I boil them?

I tried the reverse taryn spin on my bloog cartomizers and I'm not getting anything out of it at all.......

So just a quick question, can I boil my cartomizers even though they're completely full? as in.. right out of the package? I overloaded on cartomizers with flavors I just don't like and am going to try cleaning them for the first time

Might want to try just running hot tap water through them first. Here is the method that seems to work fine for most:
#1: rinse with hot water under the tap, rinse, blow, rinse, blow (from the mouthpiece end, out the battery connection end) Until you smell no more "flavor" (That makes sense right?)

#2: drop it in a jar of EverClear, pure grain alcohol. Whatever the hell it is, for me it completely gets rid of any prior flavors and no need to dry with hair dryer or "let sit over night"

#3: Again, with tweezers, take it out of the jar, pat with a paper towel. Blow into the sink the same way you did when you had ran it under the tap. Blow blow blow until no more liquid comes out. Blow one more time, pat battery end dry with paper towel.

#4: Fill, enjoy!

I use PGA when cleaning my attys... no need for drying (alcohol displaces water and then evaporates quickly).

It depends on how smelly you want a pot of boiling water to be :)

An inexpensive oral syringe is a great way to get liquid out of cartomizers -

That's just how I do it! LOL I thought I was being inventive

OP: If you do what cyberwolf does but with the syringe filled with hot water first then you can flush the juice from the carto prior to dropping into boiling water. I usually have another pan of boiled water (still hot but turned off) that I will do a final flush through like the pre-soak flush I mentioned above. Then with the syringe empty you can give it a few good dry pumps of air to clear the water. I have had a problem of cartos getting rusty inside when they sit out to air dry after cleaning so I put them on a cookie sheet lined with foil and set them in front of a portable heater to dry with the blowing warm/hot air. (taking pre-cautions to not leave it unattended, of course)

Everyone has their own little tricks but you will find what works best for you =)
