When I got my first Reo around a month ago, I figured I would just go ahead and keep my Provari just in case (in case of what, I don't know).

I finally realized recently that I won't ever use it again and just put it up in the classies. It really is a wonderful mod, but I just can't imagine going back to carto tanks again, ever. I had this bag full of all sorts of different cartos, tanks, a carto punch, and other assorted accoutrements that I am frankly relieved that I won't ever have to deal with again.

Now, it's just my 2 Grands (I have a sneaking suspicion that a VV is in my future), a handful of batteries, and the few juices that I can vape all day every day.

Mad props to Rob for the device that changed the game for me and so many others, and to the rest of you for your continued guidance, tolerance of my noob questions, and technical assistance. You guys are killing it!

Sold my Provari as well to fund my second REO. It's a top dog device for the area it's meant to cover, but bottom feeders are on a whole superior league in terms of vape quality and the REO is on that top spot as well. It's funny how every single device I bought I always had a bit of buyer's remorse, you know, should I have bought it? Is it worth that much cash? Not a lot of people talking about it? Etc. yet when I bought the REO I was already convinced without trying it that it was the best vape I'd ever have, and it indeed is.

I still have my el cheapo k101 and a couple pt2's. With micro coils and cotton of course. Just for backup you understand, until I get reo #2. :D
You are forgiven, but you will not be granted access to the second floor of the REO Cathedral until you ditch those filthy meat sticks and come with the backup key to vaping heaven.

I have only used reos never owned other mods so I guess my input isn't valuable . I built a bunch of tube mods many years ago wasn't my cup of tea . If the tube works I say good enough as long as one is not smoking that is all that matters :)

I enjoy reading these comments. Imagine the satisfaction not only is the mod you enjoy using the most awesome, but you made it and so many others enjoy it too.

So true, PH. Month and a half for me now, still feels just right. Can't sell my Vamo - ohm meter and battery checker! But that flat work station ohm meters on its way to one of our local vendors and my name is on the list! If I can just persuade Scott to post a doohickey to these far shores...and I try every post I can:)!

That's why I held onto my vamo for so long. I recently started checking it against my Fluke multi-meter and found the vamo to be inaccurate. She had to go.

I tried untanked Boge LR cartos in my eGo days and have continued to use them on and off for variety. About a month ago, I got some 19 mm IBTanked glass tanks and laser-slotted LR Boges to try on my pre-REO eVic and liked that too, even at 2Ω. So despite owning two Grands running sub-ohm micro coils with four RM2s, I bought another tube to be my carto tank mech.

It's a limited-production, American-made Super-T Precise Simplicity in the 18500 size. I love the svelte 20 mm diameter and 81 mm length. The machining is impeccable and the contacts are maintenance-free palladium-plated brass--hidden venting and no hot spring. Lifetime warranty. My tumbled raw aluminum Grand is still my daily driver though and the silver vein still my absinthe vessel at home.

Still have a Provari and will keep it, its worth more to me than I could get for it anyway.
I bought it new and it still looks brand new (like all my mods :))

I still buy and use other things regularly but that is just me. I'm a little different because I'm retired and spend so much time at home. I can go 3-4 days without leaving the house often. I have 3 Zen sidewinders to make my tube toppers more REO-like in size and button placement. Once you do a bit of work to them they are top performers as well, and should also last longer than my lifetime.

What I won't do is go anywhere without a REO ..... Its just stupid to try and take some of the other stuff out and about.
So ya, I have things that match the vape quality of the REO setups ...... But nothing matches the convenience of a REO on the go.
Nothing I say :) ..... Everyones first 3 go to mods should be REOs, then play with as many toys as you want after that.
