Boosting Nic Free E-Juice to my desired strength of Nicotine

Hi All,
I am interested in boosting my Nic Free e-juice to my desired strength of nicotine MG/ML. I have 100% Nicotine and I would like a very simple formulae to determine how much of this Nicotine (100%) I would need to add to the Zero Nicotine e-juice to obtain the desired strength. I.E. 18 mg/ML. I am not into algebra so a very simple formulae would be of great assistance. Thanking you for your assistance.

The problem of Nic adding calculations is getting the specific density of the VG/PG based on what you are using, and from an average figure supplied by a chemist friend, the density of water being 1.00000 and the VG/PG base being 1.0225 one can come up with a formula but as I have said not being well versed in algebra it is somewhat of rocket science to me.

Well, if you mix equal parts of NO Nicotine base with your 100mg base, you would have 50mg base. If you do that again (cutting it with NO nicotine base) you will have 25mg base made
Hmmm, I am getting rather old and stupid:oops: Now why did I not think of this, here I am ripping my hair out trying to work out formulae and the solution is staring me right in my face. I am so embarassed I did not think of this.:oops: then I can use my app to make the juice I want.

Thank you for giving this old fella some brains.

Formula: divide desired amount of mg by mgs of nic in solution to get the % of nicotine solution to use in your juice. If you are using 100mg solution, it's like this: You want 18mg, so 18/100=.18 or 18%, which makes your recipe need 18% of your nic solution in your finished juice.

If you were making a DIY liquid, that means you would have roughly 5 parts to work with. Rule of thumb for flavor concentrate is 20%, though I usually use closer to 40%. So you'd have 3 parts diluent, just over one part flavor, and just under one part nic solution.

I mention this because it might dilute the flavor to add nicotine solution to your 0% nic juice, since its recipe didn't allow for almost another 1/5th of flavor diluent, the nicotine.

If you figure out what 1/5th of your current amount of mls is and add a little under that in nic solution, you will have the correct mix, if a little bland.

If you want to do DIY flavors, you will need to get some diluent (VG or PG or a combo), some flavor concentrate (try Wizard Labs) and work with the recipe for 100mg nic solution, which is 18% nic solution, 20-40% flavor, and the rest diluent. Some people add a little ethyl alcohol. I often add Rumplemintz to thin out my high VG content and help give it more throat hit- about 10%

Mmm... rumpleminz

I'll bet that tastes outstanding

Thanks buddy I have most of these, and there is a good app that can be found on Google play store the one with the Penguin logo it works well on Android Phones. It is called an E-Liquid Calculator if any one is interested look for the one with the Penguin Logo it is a beut and also has a mod wattage calculator as well.
