Hi all,
I have in front of me a bottle of intellicig juice labelled 4.5%. I have been vaping this stuff for a year now with pretty heavy daily use and I have to say I have never had any rush or dizziness. I understand that 4.5% should be 45mg but I honestly think something is wrong here because intellicig champion the idea of smoking cessation !?
am i missing something here? Or is this stuff actually strong? Its really hard to get juice elsewhere that claims 45mg.

Yes, I would say 45mg is extremely high. most people don't go over 24mg, I stick in the 12 to 18mg range.

You should get a NIC Testing kit.
This when it is in stock works... Nicotine Test Kit
Or there is a kit you can buy from a link on ECF here somewhere, I can't find it right now. It is basically the same kit.

Then follow these instructions.... This test should get you within a 3% to 5% accuracy of the NIC level in your juice.

The Kit:
.12N Sulfuric Acid
Bromothymol Blue
Distilled Water
10mL Graduated Cylinder, .1mL markings is optimum
A paper towel

The Test:

Pour some distilled water in the cylinder, swirl it, dump it out.
Do this 3 times minimum
Dry cylinder with a sliver of paper towel.

1. Put 1mL of eLiquid in the cylinder

2. Add 2 drops blue (you may have to add a few more drops like 8 or so to get a finishing yellow you can see, that's ok, it won't change the test much, if you can tell, just try to subtract the .1ml's if that is how much you added during the test.)

3. Fill cylinder to the 3mL mark with distilled water

4. Swirl to mix

5. Add a drop of acid

6. Swirl to mix

7. If the color of the solution didn't turn pale yellow, repeat 5 and 6

8. Measure the final volume

9. Subtract 3 from the number you read in step 8

Multiply the result of step 9 by 19.4712
The resulting number is the mg/mL

yes, 4.5% is 45mg per Milliliter. Which is incredibly high vape. Should never really go over 24mg.
32mg is right on that edge that shouldn't really be crossed. And most people should never get that close to 32mg.

Pharmacy Math: Convert Percent % Concentration to Mg per Ml - YouTube

You can lower the nic by adding either PG or VG to it
for this 45mg, I would add 12ml to a 10ml bottle or 40ml to a 30ml bottle. should drop it to around 20mg.

But, doing so will also lose the flavor.

You can use the NIC combine in this tool http://www.ejuice.breaktru.com/
to figure out the ratios

Just as an FYI, I don't think I have seen a straight vaping juice that high from any US vendor.
