chipset to switch, do you have to use + and - from pcb, or can it be done as we do on dicodes and take from + battery to switch then to chipset?
Not sure. Maybe @ShamrockPat could answer that one. If you mean what I think you mean, I wired + and - from pcb to fire switch as shown in diagram.

Yep, I'm a bit confused as I don't have + and - selection on dicodes for external switch.
For a while I thought that at Evolv we could choose whether we used - or + circuits for external switches. Like, battery - -> switch -> up -

I am a long-time vaper who has not been around for a couple years and now I need some advice.
Recently, I picked up a pink BB. I already had one BB, but it was not solid pink, and I had always wanted a fully custom pink BB so this felt like the time. But I am having so many problems...
All I've been able to acquire based on the BB.info suggested list is a drip tip and button. (it IS a fantastic drip tip tho.)
Then I got some VaperzCloudz Crypt boros for Christmas, but they don't fit in my BB by like a lot. A quick Google says that this is hit or miss depending on the BB and that was kinda it. And while those can be exchanged, there are not any other boro tanks that I can find in the US.
Found the perfect battery wraps outside of the US but they will ship internationally, thankfully.
Because of all the things, has it just run almost everyone out of business?? I remember this being expensive not difficult.
I am at this point considering a 3D printer to try making the other parts and pieces I'm looking for. And then I thought, before I invest hundreds of dollars and several hours perfecting designs I might pop on here and see if I'm just looking in all the wrong places.
    Specifically referring to:
    Front/Back panels
    Both inner plates
Boro tank (I have several great bridges)
Replacement & Bottom stickers (but I already own the Cricut to make these if needed...)
tl:dr: In the US, has it become easier to make your own custom parts over shopping??

You can easily get hold of a large variety of different boro tanks from the various Chinese retailers. (Waiting for postage might be the hardest part.)
    3FVape is one example.

    Here's a link 3FVape boro

I'm not in the US but many who visit this thread are and one of them will probably reply soon.
Best of luck @zero7starz . It won't be difficult - you'll be vaping that pink BB soon.

Say @Pigs, a VaperzCloud Crypt boro is the same size as an Ether boro. The upper shell is actually the same. Does this fit inside of a BB?

That is odd that a VaperzCloud Crypt boro won't fit inside of a BB @zero7starz. Is it too tall, wide, or too thick?

I noticed all of this time that the only place in the US sells BB stuff is Billet Box Vapor. I suspect because BBV holds the US patent on the BB. So most of us purchase outside of the country if you want something.

It is not a standard Evolv USB since the port is at 90 degrees to the solder points for the wire.
That's correct, and read the note for Pin 15, you need a vdetect resistor. BTW does that fit in a cradle of some sort built into the frame or what. Also, you can use a USB-C if you want.

    Still confused.

    Just do it this way.

@everyone, What integrated drip tip do you prefer, I think @BillW50 is always mentioning one or two.
Secondary question. Do all these mods nowaday using the standard BBV threading for those flush-nuts? Like Delro, Pulses, BMM's, SXK, Aspire's all the same

If you are talking about the USB board, they're often soldered on pads 11 (positive) and 12 (negative) on the board.

I kind of like the ones we're getting from 3fvape called Mission Never Normal Style Drip Tip the best so far. Some allows you to use 510 drip tips, these like most do not.

No not exactly. I'm not sure about Delro and Aspire, but the rest of them generally are close. Nuts and hybrid tips generally use just 2 to 3 threads and that is close enough to fit each other. Anymore threads and will probably be a no-go. A Stubby hole OTOH is maybe 1mm wider which gives it more compatibility (although the Stubby nut probably doesn't fit anything but a Stubby). Although other nuts and hybrids fits loose in a Stubby until you tighten them down.

I had posted my question in the general vaping forum and was told to ask it here….
Hope this is in the correct forum. I have a Rev3a Billet Box I have had since I bought it in 2015. I would like to get it going again if it doesn’t sell (have it on EBay). I was never able to score the boro for it back in the day and I used to run the atmistique bridge in it. I have since lost the bridge and was wondering if there is any thing out there that will work in it specifically or if anyone on here has anything they would offer for sale? I don’t do FB btw….
    Thanks

You're close to the right place. But this one specializes in yours.

    ~The Billet Box~ page 1559 continued...

Oops! They closed it. If you can't find any answers here, I'm sure your answer is in there somewhere. Doing a search should turn up some good information.

I just tested an Ether boro tank and it fits in both SXK and BBV Billet boxes.
@zero7starz I think you should have another look at yours. Try it with an empty boro first before you install a bridge.

Oh I see what you are talking about. The wiring for the external fire button. Yeah I guess you could do it that way. Ground should work fine no matter where you get it. But I'd make sure the negative from the switch on the PCB side is really ground by checking with an ohmmeter. I'm almost positive it is though.

You know what it could be? The top and bottom holes are not centered (there is a reason for this). And if you put it in backwards (fill port in the back), the flush nut won't align correctly. And even if you put the fill port in the front, but have the base of the Crypt boro backwards... I believe that could cause problems too.

I have seen them, I'm not gonna lie. Usually, buying clones was a naughty thing. Usually, I would expect them to not work or not be correctly sized. But their stuff seems to be reliable?

The base of the Crypt tank is too wide its like the airflow sticks out or something. VaperzCloud is a reputable brand, too, I was shocked and confused for sure.

I got two for Christmas from Everything BT Customs - BORO Accessories and EDC and they are super nice. Resign material, custom made, and they have a large color and shape selection. Ships quick, too.

I got it back out and took photos. While I do feel those differences you mention, it still doesn't get it to fit. It is off in millimeters of space, sadly.

Most clones these days are as good as the authentic versions.

If that isn't a clone BB then it may have been re-painted which could account for the tight boro fit.
