I just ordered the raw aluminium one. It was too much money but I have a feeling it won't be too hard to sell if I decide to.

EDIT : Actually it's a pretty good deal when you look at it. Felt like a lot of money but even the Ether boro rba that comes with it costs around 70 to 90 bucks AUD here. Not to mention the DNA60 and the fact that only 500 of each were made. I'm surprised they didn't sell out sooner. Thanks for the heads up Bill!!

Yes I don't think you could go wrong by getting one. And I too would thought they would sell out fast. Well the first day they did sell a lot of them. The second day it slowed down pretty fast. They do cost more than most vapers are willing to spend and being so close to the holidays means a lot of families are tight on cash right now. So later, I bet there will be quite a few people looking for one months down the road.

I agree that everything you get, it's not a bad price. And oddly enough, I never had any plans on getting an Ether boro (I already have plenty of boro rebuildables as it is). Although I do love the Ether for the Abyss. That one was what $25USD and the Ether boro is like $80USD. Vaperz Cloud also now has an Ether Lite boro for $45USD (less extras included). I still wasn't interested. But now I'm getting them included with the Stubby MNCH, I don't have much of a choice. I might actually like them. I'm curious what you think of them after you try one.

Oh before I forget, there is a MNCH DNA60 Profile you might be interested in.

My first Stubby XRay (and first AIO I've ever bought by the way) was just delivered. Unfortunately I am getting ready to leave for work so no time to do much more than open it and take a quick peek in the box. Am I the only one who thinks the best part of the Stubby is the card from vaping Bogan? Lol

Me too! Well actually my third Xray. I already had two Xrays in different colors and I was missing the third one of the series. So I thought I should get it to complete my Xray collection. It should be here in a few days.

The Xray ones are called SE. I first thought that meant second edition, but now I am not so sure. It might mean special edition. Anyway I think they are better than the original. And I think you will really like it. And if you are a MTL vaper, they sell a MTL Kit for those Stubby boros if you are interested. If not, there are lots of boro options nowadays.

And yes, Bogan does sent out that funny card with every purchase.

Thanks for the profile Bill.
I also really like the original (round deck) Ether rba in the Abyss. Seems like a perfect match - I hardly ever tried another atty in mine. So simple to build and never a problem.
I'm curious about the Ether boro rba too -
My stubby still hasn't shipped.

Unboxed my Xray (Thunderstruck, but only because Black Widow was out of stock when I placed my order) and put a build in the Stubby tank this morning. After a day's use I can say I might just head further down this Boro rabbit hole. A couple of thoughts. First, I picked the Xray over the normal Stubby based primarily on appearance. I really don't know if there are any other real differences but I do have a couple of minor gripes with this mod.

First, and this one I will probably adjust to with time, is that I can't hold it the way that feels most natural to me when vaping. I want my index finger on the fire button, but that puts the airflow slot against the palm of my hand.

Second (and easily fixable I think if I go through my box of random collected bits and pieces of vape stuff) is I dislike the stock drip tip, it needs to be a little bit taller. I'll just replace the drip tip with something I like though, so no biggie. Is it worth looking into some of the hybrid drip tips that screw in where in place of the flush nut?

Which brings me to number three. Why is there no tool for screwing the flush nut in and out?

And gripe number four, I have been vaping since 2015 and I have never owned a regulated mod until now that didn't include the resistance of the current coil on the display. I want to see that, even though my build was checked on a tab, I like to see what the mod says.

Having said all of that, I actually do like it, and think this will become my all day carry. I expected it to be small but was pleasantly surprised that it is even a bit smaller than I thought.

The best tool I've got came with the Pulse AIO. It's that metal doodacky near the coil cutter in this pic from someone's review.

Anybody try one of those Odd Job boros yet? VC has them for 35 bucks (on sale) and I thought it might be worth trying.

Definitely work trying at that price. Brilliant flavour and I love the capacity. My write up on it is here

Maybe I will look into buying one of those metal doodackys. Looked on a couple of sites for prices. At first glance it seemed a little pricy, but considering they throw in a free mod and other extras with the purchase of each doodacky I guess it's not so bad.

I pinch them to hold and fire. Maybe my hands are too big, but no matter how I hold it in either hand, I couldn't cover the airflow unless I wrap my whole hand around the whole thing. So sorry, I don't think I could help you there.

I don't know why they ship stuff with the worst drip tips. But virtually every manufacture does this. Thankfully it's 510 compatible. And yes, I love the hybrid drip tips. Definitely worth looking into.

Originally there wasn't a tool. That's a new thing with some manufacturers. We used things like a coin or my favorite the other end of tweezers. I still use them today. But there are special tools for the job and nothing wrong with using them either.

And gripe number four, I have been vaping since 2015 and I have never owned a regulated mod until now that didn't include the resistance of the current coil on the display. I want to see that, even though my build was checked on a tab, I like to see what the mod says.

Resistance is there. Remove the panel to see the rest of the screen. Only the Xray covers part of the screen. The original Stubby, the panel had no cutouts and you had to lift the panel off to see the screen at all. Although you can get transparent panels too (careful, you need Xray compatible panels because of the square fire button). Same for the original Billet Box and clones.

Well now I feel stupid. Didn't even think to take the panel off. And of course I never read instructions because, well, I think there's some kind of rule against reading manuals and instructions. Yeah, now the screen looks much more like I expected.
Huh, 152 puffs so far just today. My pulse squonker is probably starting to feel neglected.

Hmmm, didn't think about a coin. The other end of my tweezers wasn't big enough to go all the way across, ended up using a table knife. But a coin would be much more convenient.

Instructions? Oh yeah, there are instructions in the box. I should read that thing one of these days. Maybe it tells us what the SE part means. ;)

The typical tweezers with the non-conductive tip found virtually everywhere vape stuff is sold is what I normally use and it definitely doesn't look wide enough to fit. But the round end sort of drops into the hole a bit and somehow it catches (barely) and works. If you have the same, try it. ;)

Anyone got a source to get a 21700 stubby? I'm in the US.

Yeah about that... they promised a 21700 version and I recall they delivered back in March. By the end of April, they were all gone. Bogan in the comments of his Xray video (I think that's the one) said they were going to do a 21700 version too. But so far, nothing.

What worries me is something TonyB said in the comments in his Pulse AIO v2 video. And that is there isn't going to be a 21700 version of the Pulse AIO v2. He said marketing research shows the 21700 is dead and the 18650 is hot. And I hope all of the other developers of other makes and models doesn't get the same memo. As I like many others prefer 21700 versions over 18650 versions and I don't care if they are a few millimeters taller and wider.

SIDE NOTE: Back in 2018, someone posted what vapes will look like in 2028. Sadly it looks like we are headed there.

Well an Aussie that goes by the name of Sam did come up with a dual 21700 Odin DNA250C. Which is one of my favorite mods. ;)

What I find interesting is an 80lb (36kg) woman has no problems lugging around a 20oz (600ml) water bottle. But complains that a 200g mod is too heavy.

I guess my heaviest mods are my HOG DNA400C (4x18650). And believe it or not, are still lighter even loaded with batteries than a 20oz water bottle. By the way, my coffee mug holds 20oz.

I don't have a problem of people who wants compact devices, just only if all of them are compact with no other options. And you know where that leads to. The government will say kids use compact devices so all compact devices must be banned. Then we are left with nothing. :(

I never really understood the American preference for 21700 mods. For single battery sbs and boro mods it seems like 18650 battery devices are more practical. I'd go with compact any day.

For me, I like the extra vaping time you get with a 21700, and the stubby is such a compact mod, the 21700 version is by no means a large mod, think I saw the xray for sale somewhere, so maybe I'll just have to that route, know I do want a 2nd stubby for sure.
