I'm fairly new to the "'Ville" but in my short time here I've found it difficult to refill my bottle while at work. I usually have a few bottles 10/15 ml. with standard drip spouts and unless they flow really well ( Almost exclusively 100% VG. here) I end up making a horrible mess while trying to refill. A syringe is not really an option to carry into work and I think I've found a less messy way to refill.
What I do is to pull the feed tube along with the bottle from the REO, some call this a problem, until now. Then invert the empty bottle and fill tube assembly and squeeze the bottle, pushing the air out. While holding the empty up side down and squeezed I submerge the end of the tube into my refill container and release the squeeze on the bottle. New juice sucks in. May have to rinse and repeat to completely fill the squonk bottle. Then just re attach the feed tube to the nipple in the device.
While it may shorten the life of the feed tube by an insignificant bit the easy and overall "Less Messy" fill is a treat compared to a dangling tube and cover dripping all over the interior of my device, or juice running down the side of my squonk bottle.
If you have a hard time staying neat and clean when refilling give it a try, works well for me.

If I am at work or somewhere else in a pinch and need to refill, this is how I do it. No mess and no fuss. Takes about 30 seconds.

Just carry a full reo spare bottle, & swap them over, easiest way

I don't take the bottle all the way off, I leave the tube poking in the bottle and then drip a stream on to the tube and it runs into the bottle. Has worked with 50/50 vg and 80/20 vg

I do the same no leaks at all. Just push my juice bottle nozzle into reo bottle with tube still in and fill it up. No tissue paper required.

Unscrew refill bottle, unscrew reo bottle - left hand hold tube up so it does not drip - refill bottle - screw it back on. No tissues, no mess, no messing.

time: 20 seconds.

advanced level: play with drip on tube as if it were a fushigi ball - refill and collect tips. Japanese Glass Ball Performer (Contact Juggling) - YouTube

expert level: make a coil as well

grand master Dibby level: fit a new door to the Reo as well.

I refill right in the mod...tipping the tube up, the juice doesn't drain out...and the bottle rests nicely right in the mod, stable for filling with a bottle, nozzle or no.
I tried it, I like it. Works great and is now my method of choice. thanks for posting!
