No funny stories but I've used Atomic Cinnacide, Cinnamon Red-hots(from various manufacturers) and all other hot cinnamon concoctions that I could find in my REO Grands for years now. Still do, its my flavor of choice. The bottles have held up fine.
Now the bottle o-rings.......that's another story.:)

It's not a thread hijack, getting rid of the o-rings means there's nothing to have to change every month. I use battery acid too.

To get the top off, with the tube, i just grab the nipple with a tissue (as you ought whenever you encounter a nipple) and push it sideways. Pops out! :p

Refill the bottle as usual, and brag to your mates how you have to mess with nipples everyday just to get a vape.

Try it at home and explain the black eye the next day.

I hope we're not hi-jacking the thread here but I've been considering trying the bottle mod. Does anyone have a problem attaching or detaching the bottle from the nipple without pulling out the hose?
Doing my best to phrase this so it doesn't become REO-porn.

Yep, I do. The snap on cap bottle mod is the best permanent solution but not feasible for me for the problem you mentioned plus separating cap from the bottle could leave a mess when finger dexterity becomes challenged. As supertrunker said for most people the bottle mod is the perfect solution.

Link or it didn't happen! LOL

Sorry no link but you can see in this pic that the difference between the original REO cap and my new cap that the ledge where the oring sits is wider thus allow more room for the oring to swell and still stay in place. Btw I put one in your new Peko. :)

The only liquid I've found that has caused any problems to the bottles and tubes by Robert is a tripled strength flavored banana I got from a local vendor. My feed tube started to stretch after being in the juice over night. I had experienced similar problems with gaskets in a different system I was using at the time. I was bummed out since I really like the flavor.
