What are these bottom feed models I've been hearing about and how do they work?

If someone could help out, I'll tell you what I'm trying hard to find. I would like an e-cig that can hold a decent amount of juice, and one that is powerful, maybe with 18650 battery.

I have a silver bullet, but I'm just sick of my huge hits requiring me to drip every other hit. But I also need something that can deliver 9 to 10 watts.

If you have a model you can recommend that might be considered one of the ultimate mods out there, I would gladly purchase today. Thank you for your help.

Purchasing today would be tough as the first-run pre-order is sold out but but if you're looking for a consistent 9 to 10 watts no matter what atty/carto you use without the hassle (my opinion) of a VV device you need to look into the 5v GLV-3 from Great Lakes Vapor.

While you're there, check out Russ's video on the "Technical Stuff" page.

Hope this helps.

I second the REO suggestion. They're tough, beautiful, and wonderful. The REO Grand holds a 6ml bottle and uses an 18650 battery. I swear by mine.

I was thinking about getting a Reo mini next month. The price is a little high for me though, so I was wondering if anyone could compare the Reo Mini/Grande with my current pv eGo-T/Go-Go? I'd like to see if it's worth it for me to shell out $150 or more.

Have to agree with everyone else here and say the reo, they work great are 100% mechanical and virtually indestructible, many stories of running them over with cars and leaving them in coolers overnight, usually causes the battey and atty to fail but not the device itself. Plus with an 18650 and 6 ml of juice you are set for a day at least(unless you are insane at least lol)

untitledblue - It's hard to say if it will be worth it for you, personally not having to deal with dripping/carts/cartos/whatever else I have everything I need in one small(ish) package. Plus you get to take advantage of LR atomizers which tend to damage ego/riva batts.

Best purchase I've ever made!

Robert should have some Grands ready to sell any day now. You need to find out the day he releases them for sale because they will sell out in a couple of days, sometimes a few hours.

I love my Reos so much. They work every time, built like a .... brick house, hit hard, I can say enough good things about them.

*** Reo sales is tonight ***

If you want a bottom feeder on a budget you can try the Boge Revolution V2 Kit for around $50. That includes everything you need but some juice.

1400mah of batteries are built in, charges while vaping via mini usb, comes with a 110 Wall A/C to USB transformer and 5 Boge cartomizers.

Might be a good buy to use while saving up for one of the nicer ones, you won't be locked into buying batteries/chargers as it has its own...then it can become a very good back-up unit.

Oops, just saw that you want 9 to 10 watts.
Assuming this thing will run a LR atty, you could get around 9 watts with a 1.5 Ohm atty...a little more right off a full charge.

Just ordered one to try.

It's personal preference. You can't go wrong with these suggestions. I love the GLV line. It's a top and bottom feeder and it's a convertible. You can take the juice box off and use it as a tube mod. I've purchased a lot of mods. The GLVs for me are in a class by themselves.

If you want to try a bottom feeder without a big investment OldGoatMods sells one ridiculously inexpensive. Ron is a great guy and answered my questions with patience. Good luck.

Ok just looking at both, the Reo grand and the GLV-3, the GLV wins me over for design. I think the lines on it are sharper or more along the type of style I prefer.

It sounds like getting the Reo is a pain anyway. I would rather just pay for the GLV and know I'll be getting it soon. So, I'm ordering it right now. Thanks a million for the heads up!

P.s., if someone makes a worthy product, I'll pay any price that its worth. I love gadgets in my life. If someone made a triple atomizer mod running on a 26500 with twin flavor juice chambers, I'd pay $300 for it. Hah, too bad they don't!

I have the EgoT, and its worthless to me. Its got a powerful battery about the size of a 14500, and they ruined the design in my opinion by regulating the power output. So not only is the wattage to the coil low, but then it has a timer limit of a few seconds that shuts it down after you hold the button down. So the Ego just fights me when I want to take and feel a big hit.

With the bottom feed, you can run the high voltage to get the heat, and if I am understanding the concept, the fluid is better dispersed to the coil so you can get the fullest hits possible. I guess you could say it has the best things from any mod, combined with the only useful feature from the Ego, which is a tank. Seems to be the best of the best design, and once you provide it with a top atomizer design, it can't get much better. The only place left for improvement would be more voltage and power, which you can provide yourself with even higher voltage batts (2x 3.7v). The problem with attys at 7.4v is that they run dry in an instant from the heat generated, but I think bottom feed would keep the coil wetted still.

You may want to consider the eclipse for $300, top of the line. But I also agree the reo mini and Grand are the best, then the ali'i, I have them both and they perform excellent. The GLV looks slick, but the Reo delivers and look at the sales, thousands can attest to the reo family!

Good Luck,
