Well I placed an order for the GLV-3, but I'm wondering if I should cancel it and put my name down for the Eclipse EQ.

The Eclipse looks nice, but isn't it top feed? I guess it's sort of odd because it looks like forced top feed. In other words there is a pump pushing the juice in. I don't know if this would physically feel different when hitting from a bottom feed or what.

Is the idea with the GLV-3 that you actually pump the juice yourself by squeezing the bottle? Is that how it works, or another way?

Basically here's how it goes with me. My lungs almost feel nothing. I can sit there and hit 6V for 12 seconds straight until my lungs are full, and I still don't get that much of a throat hit. I have tried many different fluids and voltages, but this is just the way it is. My lungs seem to have a tolerance developed for the hit. I've known this for a long time, because I used to smoke other things, and no one could understand how I could inhale so much without coughing. There is seemingly no limit that I feel. In the morning, the first few hits from a Silver Bullet on 6V actually do provide a good feeling of throat hit (I think that phrase is wrong, it should be called "lung hit"). But then after a few hits in the morning my lungs seem to adapt and I struggle for a strong hit the rest of the day.

So what I am saying is, I am desperate to get a hold of the strongest hitting device out there and will pay anything to get it. Now that I paid for a GLV-3 and heard about the Eclipse I am practically nervous that I should be getting a refund and buying the other. I just want to buy one thing and be satisfied without having to buy model after model looking for more hit.

FWIW, when Great Lakes Vapor releases a new product, the first pre-order usually takes longer than subsequent pre-orders or past releases. For example, first run GLV-3 buyers will begin receiving them next week but folks who've purchased custom GLV-2s during the GLV-3 pre-order have gotten them in about ten days.

If GLVs were only available in three to five colors they may ship faster but the color options and combos Jay offers make it pretty much impossible to keep finished "shelf stock" on hand. I much prefer Great Lakes Vapor's pre-order system than the "mod-roulette" I've seen from other manufacturers.

Quality takes time with any mod, especially custom built ones.

That's exactly how the GLV-3 (and feeders in general) works. At least you can choose bottom feed, top feed, or both, or remove the feeder altogether and have what many believe to be the best 5v mod on the market.

It's really like getting two PVs in one.
