Bottom feeder VS Cart feeder

I am currently working on a mod that I was planning to add a cart feeder system to but would like some feedback from those who have used both methods with a 510 atty. I'm not opposed to a bottom feeder but it is more complicated than a cart feeder and wanted some feedback before I consider it. My main concern would be a problem with airflow.

My main concern would be a problem with airflow.

Bottom feed has its advantages.

Airflow shouldn't be a problem if using a manual method of switching the power, as the air does not have to be drawn up through the hole in the bottom of the battery connector as its drawn through the little hole in the side of it.
