I really like spring loaded the best and usually do some sort of spring loaded even if it's just a silicone bushing but I've done a few adjustable. to me adjustable is only great if you can have the screw be reverse threaded so when you tighten the atty you're not also lowering the adjustment, when the adjustment turns the same RH threading as the atty then sometimes you'll never get it really tight because turning the atty can also turn the pin

yeah I think the silicone tube would be my best bet for minor play, if it needs more the, it would need to be a bit of unscrewing and realigning the lever

Why not losen the pin first? Then screw on the atty all the way. Then tight the pin to the atty. That way, the pin is not in contact with the atty until after the atty is screwed all the way on.

Modded the Vector RDA. Easiest RDA I ever squonkafied. NO DRILL BITS REQUIRED. I did the whole thing with a Dremel and a cutter disc. I used the pin that came with the mod. The beauty of the Vector is you just need to wide slot the center post from the bottom. It seats into the base of the atty on the square sides milled into the bottom of the center post that match up with the delrin insert. Here are some pics of the centerpost and the pin. She squonks hearty and drains super fast. If you have limited skill like me, you can easily mod all your attys with a Dremel on a desk top with any clamp or vice. I held the pieces with a needle nose.

A full copper CC?...already looking amazing...though I would not be looking forward to boring the batt/bottle holes...finding that sweet spot of speed/force/feed rate is just nasty with copper...and what cutting fluid? (I even tried whole milk like some of the old time machinists suggested). I'm sure you've already run into how copper likes to grab a cutter and pull it into itself

Copper, love the end product, hate machining it

You would actually need to use half and half, if you want to replicate old time whole milk. Today's whole milk does not contain as much cream as milk fresh from the farm of yesteryear.
