Hi mgsolidus and welcome to the forum. Just about any 510 threaded tank will be an upgrade from an eGo threaded one. What type of battery or mod are you using for power?
^^-- maybe, except for the mechanical integrity of the thread, which is obviously inferior.

Almost everyone will tell you that bigger, more expensive, more powerful is a lot better. It may be or it may not, for you. I've tried some higher power stuff, but mostly my clearomizer collection keeps growing along with my juice collection.
The most important thing with the regular Kanger style stuff is a battery with voltage or power reduction. A nonadjustable battery will be fine until you start taking longer drags, and then they burn a bit easily. This may not be accidental, as the cheapest variable batteries only adjust downward and work better at low settings (there also used to be batteries pre-set to a lower regulated voltage). Check also if your EVOD 2 has the old exposed wicks coil units (visible when opened to fill), mine came with one and it was really burny. I just started using a new style coil and like it so far (had adapted mine to using single coil for a while).
I'd recommend an iStick 30W and a Nautilus Mini. The iStick 30 W will allow growth into beginner sub ohm if you desire to go there and the Nautilus Mini is a great tank with it's BVC coils. Both of these are very user friendly.
How advanced do you want to go for better performance?
Then the Nautilus sounds right for you.Not too far. I just want to refill, replace coils, and clean it. Nothing more than I have to.
Nautilus it is, then.
Any cheaper alternative to the iStick?
I would suggest you look into a 30W iStick and a GS Air M tank.
Probably so, but when you start to add replaceable batteries and a separate charger it quickly adds up. You could also get something like a VV (variable voltage) twist battery...but you'll get more mileage from the iStick 30.
yes. It's a proven product. The issues with the 20W were fixed in the 30W. Huge number of vapers on this forum use it. You can go the route of the mod with replaceable batteries and the mod will be cheaper, but you'd still have to invest in the batteries and a charger.
