^^-- maybe, except for the mechanical integrity of the thread, which is obviously inferior.

    * * *

Almost everyone will tell you that bigger, more expensive, more powerful is a lot better. It may be or it may not, for you. I've tried some higher power stuff, but mostly my clearomizer collection keeps growing along with my juice collection.

The most important thing with the regular Kanger style stuff is a battery with voltage or power reduction. A nonadjustable battery will be fine until you start taking longer drags, and then they burn a bit easily. This may not be accidental, as the cheapest variable batteries only adjust downward and work better at low settings (there also used to be batteries pre-set to a lower regulated voltage). Check also if your EVOD 2 has the old exposed wicks coil units (visible when opened to fill), mine came with one and it was really burny. I just started using a new style coil and like it so far (had adapted mine to using single coil for a while).

Hi mgsolidus and welcome to the forum. Just about any 510 threaded tank will be an upgrade from an eGo threaded one. What type of battery or mod are you using for power?

It's the default 650mah battery that comes with the evod 2.

What I'm looking for most is something to increase the flavor and vapor production. I'm not really enjoying any of these liquids I have (but I did before on an older, cheaper e-cig). Maybe a battery upgrade too. Direct links to recommended products would be great.
    Thanks!

The Aspire Nautilus (comes in a standard and mini size) would be an tank upgrade to what you have. It uses replaceable coil heads, so order some when you buy the Nautilus. It simple and easy to fill and use for any beginner.

An Evod is a beginner to low intermediate battery device. How advanced do you want to go for better performance?

I'd recommend an iStick 30W and a Nautilus Mini. The iStick 30 W will allow growth into beginner sub ohm if you desire to go there and the Nautilus Mini is a great tank with it's BVC coils. Both of these are very user friendly.

The iStick looks really nice, though pricey.
Nautilus Mini looks great, will almost certainly but it. Which coils should I buy for it?

I would suggest you look into a 30W iStick and a GS Air M tank. It is a small little system, better battery length and bigger tank and flavour. Fairly cheap and still good quality.

Tank is here and there is a big thread on them on ECF.
Eleaf GS Air M - Eleaf Tanks - Eleaf - Clearomizers Tanks

If money is tight get the 30W iStick first and use your Evod 2 tanks at about 8W on it.
    Cheers

    Nautilus it is, then.
Any cheaper alternative to the iStick?

Probably so, but when you start to add replaceable batteries and a separate charger it quickly adds up. You could also get something like a VV (variable voltage) twist battery...but you'll get more mileage from the iStick 30.

So the iStick has a non-removable, rechargeable battery?

yes. It's a proven product. The issues with the 20W were fixed in the 30W. Huge number of vapers on this forum use it. You can go the route of the mod with replaceable batteries and the mod will be cheaper, but you'd still have to invest in the batteries and a charger.

Edit : The GS tanks are really good tanks (very popular), the Nautilus is a "great" tank (In my opinion).

Noted. May just have to get the iStick then.
So, if I buy the iStick and Nautilus Mini, I can just screw them together, add liquid and vape? Nothing else required?
