bought a second hand rm2..ceramic is burned/stained..ways to clean it?

Try scrubbing it w/ a toothbrush w/ toothpaste and or denture cream like JC said. Maybe soaking in baking soda?.....oxi clean?.....I don't know.

Hydrogen peroxide is a mild bleaching agent. You might try soaking in it for awhile then giving it a really good rinse.

I have a second hand one like this also - if I knew how to disassemble the RM2 safely without braking anything then the easiest way to deal with discolored ceramic is to torch it with a butane torch...

I used have a IR soldering station, for soldering BGA chipsets. The preheater on the bottom was ceramic & got stained from rosin flux. I never was able to clean the stains but that was flux. Didn't affect anything. juice might be different but then again it could be similar.

Have you tried rinsing with hot water or boiling the ceramic insulator only? Soak in isopropyl? I clean my atties in a heated ultrasonic cleaner & they come out squeaky clean. I don't have a stained RM2 to try though.
