I know it's nothing like some if not most of what you guys have, but I'm officially 11 days without a cigarette.

I bought Joye 510 Dual Atomizer Starter Kit

Came with two 150mAh batteries, 2 atomizers, charger, 5 cartridges. I bought an extra atomizer and 5 more cartridges for *what the heck*.

The kit was $39.95. I love it, the manual is so much nicer compared to the gas station ones and lasts longer.

My goal (When I get the money) is to buy a better battery and decide if i want to go tank route or stay with cartridges. I don't mind filling them up, and I don't mind cleaning the atomizer/carts every once in awhile.

For later on down the road battery wise, should i stick to Joye 510 and get a 1000 mAh? When you are talking about this much battery, would it be dumb to use carts? I'm not a big "mod" person. I just want to put it together, and work lol. That is why using a tank system kind of scares me away. However,
if applicable; What are your guys/girls suggestion on battery/tanks/cartomizers.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

On a side note, I'm a big menthol smoke. Always have been, always will be. I ventured out and bought some fruity and/or different e-juices being daring and it was an awful experience. So I am sticking to menthol. I just purchased Halo's menthol starter kit because I read good reviews about that website. Praying for the best because I haven't found a menthol yet that i could vape all day to.

Hi and welcome!

Any device that keeps you from smoking cigarettes is fabulous! There are a couple of other devices you can put on a 510 cig-a-like battery for variety:

CE3 XL Clearomizer [CE3XL] - $8.50 : Vapors Choice, Ecigarettes & Parts

As you read more of the forum you'll find so many different set-ups you can put together, but I highly recommend staying with 510 threaded devices. It has become the most popular size and will give you many more equipment options.

I am new also. I am actually waiting to get my first kit in the mail so you are one step ahead of me. I just know that I read many different posts here on ECF and watched lots of Youtube videos before deciding on my first Spinner. From my reading I see a lot of people buying newer and "better" setups. I am going to try to use the kit I bought for a few months and see how I like it and find out what works for me. If you smoked a lot it does look like you will need a better battery. My Spinner is 1300mah and in my reading here they say about 100mah per hour of use for battery size. I also like that my battery is variable voltage. That means that i can turn the dial to adjust the quality of my vape. I am hoping that I will find that I do not have to upgrade for at least several months while I get to explore the flavors available.

I don't know if this helped you at all, but I wish you the best of luck. You will get your answers here. Just explore the forums and read reviews to see what has worked for others.
