Lots of good advice here. But yea a lot of ppl are saying the Uwell crown is great, the Pico looks like a cool kit, and that RBA from fastech is something I had no idea about. Is stuff from fasstech reliable? I don't wanna get something that's gonna blow up cuz it was machined crappy. Things seem to be working ok now. As if these coils need to be broken in or something...idk. I'm not sure if I'm ready to build my own yet. I'd have to learn more about it. I'm waiting to try the nickel and the Clapton coils I got. Wanna burn out the one I'm using first. Do ppl swap coils regularly or is leaving it laying around bad or something.

I have been looking for a good starter kit to relegate my current setup to backups, do I get an Aspire Odyssey mini kit with the Triton Mini or an Eleaf Pico kit with the Melo 3?

Personally no experience from fast tech but they are reliable as a lot of forum members have ordered from them. They are just slow at shipping and delivery.
Leaving the coil isn't bad. I remove the wick, wash the tank and coils, finally dry burn the coils and just let the tank sit there on the shelf.
The UWELL crown for prebuilt coils is great. I personally have 2 and they were one of my first setups. Loved it. Then went into diy and now I'm on various rtas. For flavor the crown is seriously on par with a lot of my rtas. Never had leaking problem.
Would you recommend the crown over the furytank 2 or tobeco supertank mini? I want something that takes multiple coils but if the crown coils are good enough then I don't need that.

Iirc crown actually has 4 prebuilt coils. Ni200 temp control at 0.15ohms, 0.25 and 0.5 (kanthal or stainless steel can't remember but for power mode) and a 1.2ohm coil (or was it 1.4).

Those are the nano rba coils for the subtanks;
oh; you posted that tonight; Saturday; maybe you're drunk as me; those aren't clouders; those just are smaller than the regular ones with the big holes which end up flooding if you are a tootlepuffer.
Those use the juice channels ; not bottom feeders; the juice has to come up from the sides like kayfun style.
