I bought Caramel, Vanilla Custard, and Cinnamon Coffee Cake from Capella

From FlavourArt I picked up some Orange, Whipped Cream and Tiramisu

Finally from FlavorWest I got some Red Apple.

Also picked up a 30 ml bottle of koolada additive that a family member recommended using in all recipes for a cooling effect.

Im familiar on how to use the koolada but need some advice mixing probably the Red Apple or the Orange Flavors first since the fruit stuff shouldnt need any steeping.

And then probably most importantly how long does each flavor besides the orange and apple take to steep?

Thanks

I can help with steeping.

tobaccos 4 - 5 weeks natural or 4 - 5 hours in hot water
deserts and creams 2 - 4 weeks or 4-5 hours in hot water
fruits 0 - 1 week or 0 -1 hour in hot water

read my blog on steeping

Everything you wanted to know about steeping and then some. | E-Cigarette Forum

My only advice i can give on recipes and flavoring is to mix each flavor individually and sample it. That's the only way you will know what the flavor taste like on it's own and if it will work when combined with other flavors. Research the flavor and get the recommended minimum percentage to use and start with that and work up. You can usually find that information on the venders product page.

Here's some helpful reading

Then read Ginger's book "E-Cigarettes 102: DIY e-liquid". It is a book which I've contributed to that delivers an in depth easy to follow guide in the art of DYI.

I recommend viewing VPLive Vape Team Episode #82: DIY Safety and bookmark it for future reference. It explains safety in all aspects of DYI.

this will explain a lot of the how's and why's.

Wow! Can't thank you guys enough. Very thorough responses with helpful links I will be sure to check out! Also I typically just have been doing single flavor anyway as dannyv45 suggested since ive only started making juice since around January. Only thing Im thinking of trying now is some various additives. Thought the whipped cream and koolada would be a nice starting point. I normally check the vendor thread for percentages(in this case ecigexpress, awesome vendor btw) But sometimes will just google the flavor followed by "percentage"

Might try some hot water steeping with the orange or apple today. (I've tried this once before with some TFA Cinnamon Red Hots and no luck but that is a tough flavor it DOES NOT agree with high VG juice evidently) In addition later this weekend probably make some of the vanilla custard and cinnamon cake flavor from capella and just let it sit naturally. With fruit flavors they taste alright without any steeping but have noticed when they sit a few weeks the flavors are much smoother. But the dessert flavors on the other hand like vanilla and cinnamon can be down right awful without proper steeping.
