Bought the iTaste VV.

tempted to get this one too. I've got the mvp2 but wondering about the battery life.

If you already have the MVP2, the VV is going to feel like a step down in every way except the added portability. If you are looking for something a little more discreet, go with the VV (or go to a regulated mod with external battery, such as zmax mini or cool fire I), but know that the VV life is going to be about 1/3 of what you get out of the MVP

I'm thinking of getting the VTR & SVD just to have a few more devices to play with.

Both excellent choices. I have played with the SVD a lot and am currently using the VTR. I like how both of them vape (still a toss up for me) but probably give the slight edge to the VTR for being a more discreet mod for a 18650. I like to keep mine in my breast pocket, so that sits in there very nice. The SVD is very long at both the 18350 and the 18650 (compared to other mods using those batteries).

The plus is that I already have the 18650 battery with the e-Vic, so I can just get a few extra batteries for the VTR and eVic and i'm all set. I really like my eVic, but the threads on the 510 have become sloppy, so it's just a matter of time before I either need to replace the head or purchase an eGo to 510 adapter to make the eVic even longer. Some would say "Just get a Provari" (LOL) but I would rather spend $250 and get 2 excellent devices, then $250 and 1 device. Variety is the spice of life right?

Edit - I'm not knocking a Provari. Infact I will eventually purchase the Provari Mini or standard to just add to my device collection.

The MVP 2 is an excellent mod too. My friend owns one, and It's been his go-to device. He also has a k100 mech, and uses his MVP 2 until it needs to recharge, and then he goes over to the K100.

I have 3 of these that I circulate daily. I started with one and wound up passivating all the time. The 3 work well for me, they are compact enough that I use a soft eyeglass case to carry the 2 I am not using along with 10 tanks with assorted flavors. The fact that these are 800 mah make me want to start looking into a battery that would last all day, but I will wait until these melt down first. I was adjusting voltage all the time and wound up settling on 3.7 regardless of the tank out of personal preference.

I have been warned not to charge these with a car charger as it can damage the battery, stick with a wall charger. I did and have no issues.

I was deciding between the iTaste VV and the ego-c twist when I upgraded from the cig-a-likes. For some reason, I had my head set on an ego. It didn't take me long after that to upgrade again from the ego to the iTaste. I wish I'd gone with the iTaste the first time, because I now don't use my egos anymore! I have two of the iTastes and LOVE THEM. They're gorgeous, and not too big. Yes, I wish the battery life was a little better. But I sacrificed some battery life for the small size/portability of the units.

Mapultz, thanks for that info! I was considering an ego and I'll stick with what I know is good! I agree with you all the way!

I love my MVP 2 but I think I want to get a vv for a smaller package when out. What is the battery life like on average?

I vape nearly constantly and my poor batteries will last me about 6 hours which is why I have 3 of them. For an occasional vaper like my wife, it can last 1 to 2 maybe 3 days.

I bought the iTaste VV 3.0 to try my hand at variable wattage. I'm loving it.
Check out my full review. Innokin iTaste VV v3.0 Review | vaporslist.org

I will be getting mine in the mail box in about an hour!!! I am so stoked. It's my first vv. I'm use to my 1100mah so I'm still a lil nervous about the battery being smaller than what I'm use to but I think I'm gonna love it. Glad to hear you're loving yours

Disclaimer: I'm in it to quit smoking, not a long term hobby so my post may seem strange..
My starter kit arrived today. I've already got an Innokin 650mah non vv battery an eGo 650 non vv, an eGo 900mah vv and an eGo 1100mah vv. I wanted to venture into variable wattage without changing from a smaller girth battery. My 900mah has been my main used battery since I started vaping and it lasts about 2 days. The 1100mah was a backup, the other Innokin was a gift and the 4th battery was an impulse buy to have a backup for my backups die to paranoia about running out of battery and going back to smoking. I've got 14 clearomizers for the same reason. I've got 10 15ml bottles of juice on hand with 8 more in the mail as I write this. They're not all the same but I do have backups for my Cherrywood, Menthol Blend and Chocolate Tobacco for the above reason since they are my favorites.
Anyway, what I have found is tweaking the voltage/wattage a notch either way changes the tastes dramatically without hurting the cloud of vapor I exhale or changing the warmth/harshness of the hits.
I don't know if other online juice makers use all natural ingredients and lots of subtle hints to their overall tastes but Walt as Killer-Juice does and I'm having a blast with this itaste battery because I can bring out different flavors from subtle hints to main taste while making the dominant flavors more subtle by adjusting things a little one way or the other. Like my Menthol Blend. On my twists set at 3.8 volts it's a dominant tobacco smoke flavor, strong hint of vanilla, very subtle hint of menthol, no minty taste at all. If I want more vanilla, one adjustment, more tobacco, another adjustment , more menthol yet another and when I cranked it up to 8 watts it even had a taste of mint added to my exhale. My go to setting is 3.8 volt and 6.5 watt using 2.1 ohm coils in my clearomizer tanks. I'm looking forward to learning more about how to get the most taste experience from the setup.
I'm really glad I "impulse bought" this little unit.

If I would have seen this I wouldn't have started another thread an hour or so ago. I originally thought it would be a little to long to use as my daily battery, but the more I use it the more I love it. I've been playing around with the settings for the two juices that I have and WOW. I don't think I can stick with just an ego battery anymore. So much for saving $, I'll probably be getting another one in the next day or so.

I've already made up my mind I'll be getting another. Hopefully I'll be able to wait until I replace an eGo twist but it's not looking very promising at this point that I'll be able to wait.

You wont regret it Fish. It's awesome, and.....SQUARE!!!

You are so right about that SweetCloud! I have only had it for a few hours and I'm in love with this little square thing that wont roll off the table as I sit here typing. I will be taking it to work tonight so I will get a good idea of whether it's gonna make it those eight hours. I don't vape a whole lot at work so one might be just perfect:headbang:

I know the body is square but, is the actual battery? Either way it doesn't matter. I bought five of them @ 29.00 ea. at Christmas time. I originally cam to this thread for help. Tonight, all of a sudden one of mine died. No light at all when plugged in. I tried two different cables. The one it came with and a little more 'duty' one. I wonder if this could be a problem...Since day one I've plugged both cables into my Samsung charging dock. None of the cables goes to the block they provide. Is it possible the dock doesn't have enough power to charge these things properly? The retractable cable they provide is probably a 5.00 at best item.

UPDATE: After using my magic Deoxit spray on the battery contact and a squirt on the usb tip of the cable, it started working! The green light only stays lit for a very few minutes. Is there something in the menu that give the actually battery life, other than the 3 color system?

The display will not show battery life, only the color coded trigger. It sounds like a defective plug connector on the battery itself since you ruled out the cable by using several already. The spray is likely helpping to make a connection until it eventually dries. Hopefully your supplier is reputable and will replace it. I doubt the Samsung dock is a factor as I use a Samsung charger plug, the USB connector in my truck, my laptop and a handheld backup battery with no issues.
