Bounty Hunter taste?

I am ordering a few atomizer heads from litecigusa & was also thinking of adding Bounty Hunter to my order.

I thought I read somewhere that someone thought it tastes like raisins, if it does than I wont bother.

Just want to know how you would describe the taste & if needs to steep?

You can do a search and find lots more. I bought it for someone so of course I tried it first and that was as soon as I got it. I remember tasting vanilla. They say vanilla wafer and I can see that. Another flavor too- maybe carmel or something like that. I don't remember tasting raisin, I think I'd remember that. Maybe a spicy taste though. Slightly sweet. It's not the type of thing I generally vape, but I can see why people that like a vape that's on the sweet side would enjoy it. From what everyone says, it probably does need to steep.

It has the type of heavy, full-bodied sweetness of maple, honey, or caramel, and has vanilla notes. No raisin that I taste. It's a VERY sweet juice, one of the sweetest I've tasted. The flavor is pretty good, but sweetness can be a bit much if I'm not in the right mood.

Some people says Boba's Bounty tastes like raisins (I don't), but not Bounty Hunter, I get tobacco, cherry, vanilla from it. YMMV

Jerms, the worst juice I ever tasted was Zikwid Honey Blonde. If I hate that will is there a good chance I won't like Bounty?

I am also ordering more Blue Ridge from Mov. Have either of you tried Smokey Mountain 555 or Heavenly 7 from Mov?

I haven't had that Zikwid juice. If you're worried about honey, there isn't any honey flavor from BH that I notice. Just the sweetness is in that same heavy, syrupy category instead of fruit sweet or candy sweet. More like cooked sugar like caramel, though not specifically caramel to me.

Hi VAPN,

Bounty Hunter is the premiere vliquid from NLV. Many many people find that it is not only their ADV, but THE liquid that got them to be able to vape and not smoke. I have never heard anyone say it tastes like raisins! It sure doesn't to me. Unlike the other poster, to me it is NOT sweet. It has a "sweetness" to it, but it is not sugary vape or a dessert vape at all. It's a complex and delicate blend of at least 6 different flavors, including tobacco and a creamy vanilla undertone. This is the flavor that first put NLV on the map. And no, it doesn't need steeping time. It is always ready to go straight out of the mailbox.

Cool. They're both juices that have been popular for a long time with good reason. And don't worry, no raisin or honey lol! Gold has some maple hints, and is often compared to pancakes. It's not as intensely sweet as Bounty Hunter but still pretty sweet.

After reading this thread i too have put in an order for bounty hunter and gold. They didnt have bounty hunter in 18mg though ill try 12mg maybe its time to step down the nicotine.

You've both made a good choice. The Bounty Hunter is a wonderful juice. I have to warn you though, that the GOLD is even better, imo. I have literally been vaping GOLD almost exclusively for nearly 5 months now.

Chris - stepping down is good as long as your satisfied with the throat hit. Who knows, you might be pleasantly surprised! And its like a pass to vape more!

What's up tigerlily? Had to say it...sure you've heard that one before.

I smoked for 30 some years and was off cigs for a few months completely before vaping on this level. Before that I did use the look-a-like e cgs, wasn't crazy about those.

When I bought my ego vv, I started at 12mg & am now using 9 - 6 mgs. The 6mg juices I sometimes mix with 9 & 12 if I fined them dull,lack of TH,etc..

I am trying to keep my nicotine levels as low as possible since I was off cigs completely, and I know how easy it is to relapse.
Do you think 6mg of NiteLite (read its better than most) will have a TH thats decent, if I'm used to mainly 9 ?

Would hate to think I'm waisted my money! Just added Harbor Nite to my list, so that's 3 juices in all.

Spilt juice...Damn, accidently twisted my pro tank from the atty head instead of the battery! Maybe thats an omen.

BH, to me, and to many others I've seen describe it, is like Lucky Charms cereal. Marshmallow, maybe graham cracker, maybe molasses or something. It's been a while since I've had it, but it does have a malty marshmallow cereal taste from what I recall. Creamy mouth feel to it as well. Similar profile, different taste mind you, but similar profile and mouth feel to MOV Full Virginia Flake I discovered.

As far as TH is concerned, I'm sure most would agree that it is increased with higher nic levels. For you tho, if the 6mg is just not quite enuf, why not also get a bottle of 12mg and mix them?

It the only liquid I buy that I refuse to run out of.

It has a special place in my affections as it is the liquid that made everything fall into place and become a vapour rather than a smoker.

OK gushy stuff over.

I am actually vaping some made in March last year.



People keep trying to find similarities between the Bounty's Hunter and Bobas that does not exist in other than name and that they both take you on a journey in flavour from fresh to steeped.

I am not going to try to speak to the flavour other than it is a tobacco with a vanilla wafer underlay with other flavours suggested as you go up and down the wattage scale. Everyone seems to take something slightly different from it. That is the last similarity to Bobas.

Gold is a great vape. A quick trip to the NLV page will see lots of chats usually between Kat and myself of the relative merits of both blends. Kat championing Gold myself with the even view of things ... but I would say that lol Like Gold a great deal however for me BH hits the mark. I would also grab Fruit3 and the new Tappulles before Gold but Gold has a vast fan base so probably me.

Ordered the 3 I mentioned at 6mgs, if I become a fan of NLV I may check out Tappulles. Also, if it meets my expectations than in the future I'll be getting the 130 ml instead of 30. If 6 is too weak to my liking what do you suggest would compliment Gold, Bounty & Harbor to boast the nicotine strength?
