Yeti, thank you for your loyalty as a customer. It is customers like you that have allowed us the opportunity to build a great reputation in the industry and become a respected retailer and supplier. Also, thanks for the opportunity to answer this question in a public forum.
We DO NOT use any nicotine or e-liquid from Box Elder or their affiliates.
First let me disclose that I'm not a chemist, so forgive me if I use any terms incorrectly, but I think I know enough to answer your question. In order to achieve the level of quality that we have become known for, we take the following steps:
- We receive high quality freebase nicotine from our supplier that is approximately 99.8-99.9% pure
- With each batch of nicotine we also receive a COA (Certificate of Analysis) in which the results of various tests (including titration) is used to verify nic level and the absence of impurities
- We then send out a sample to an independent lab for GC/MS analysis to verify the findings on the COA
- The independent lab also confirms their own results by testing the liquid using proton NMR spectroscopy and by infrared spectroscopy
- Each order is then calculated and mixed carefully to order using precise measurements to ensure the proper nic level is attained
- Each order is mixed, double checked, and labeled at the same station to ensure that no mislabeling could occur
We are very confident in our processes and procedures to produce a top quality product.
Thanks again for asking, and I hope I have answered your question thoroughly
