With all the current uproar over the apparently mis-labeled nicotine from Box Elder, I just wanted to give my favorite juice vendor the chance to confirm that you DO NOT use any nic juice from Box Elder, and to tell us the exhaustive steps you go through to MAKE SURE our nic is at the level specified.

Thanks!

Yeti, thank you for your loyalty as a customer. It is customers like you that have allowed us the opportunity to build a great reputation in the industry and become a respected retailer and supplier. Also, thanks for the opportunity to answer this question in a public forum.

We DO NOT use any nicotine or e-liquid from Box Elder or their affiliates.

First let me disclose that I'm not a chemist, so forgive me if I use any terms incorrectly, but I think I know enough to answer your question. In order to achieve the level of quality that we have become known for, we take the following steps:

  • We receive high quality freebase nicotine from our supplier that is approximately 99.8-99.9% pure
  • With each batch of nicotine we also receive a COA (Certificate of Analysis) in which the results of various tests (including titration) is used to verify nic level and the absence of impurities
  • We then send out a sample to an independent lab for GC/MS analysis to verify the findings on the COA
  • The independent lab also confirms their own results by testing the liquid using proton NMR spectroscopy and by infrared spectroscopy
  • Each order is then calculated and mixed carefully to order using precise measurements to ensure the proper nic level is attained
  • Each order is mixed, double checked, and labeled at the same station to ensure that no mislabeling could occur

We are very confident in our processes and procedures to produce a top quality product.
Thanks again for asking, and I hope I have answered your question thoroughly

Thank you for posting this!
You are my favorite supplier, in part for your delicious Caramel - but the main reason is for your strict Adherence to safety and cleanliness on behalf of your customers before regulations have been enforced. :)

Again, thank you for letting me have confidence in your products!

Thanks for posting this info. Although your liquid speaks for its self it's nice to know the reasons why. Just and FYI, Admin. has created a new sub forum for QC in the E-Cigarette Technical forum. This would be a great place to post this info showing all you are indeed a leader in e-liquid business.

I don't know if you can answer this, or if you are allowed to answer, but I need to ask. Gourmet Vapor is now saying that they are using your nicotine. Can you verify this? I was thinking about buying your Nic base and adding it to zero nic juice, but if you can verify that they are using your Nic, then the problem is solved.

While I cannot verify anything in terms of how and where they are using our liquid I can confirm that a purchase of our liquid was made for this purpose.

Yeah, mine stuck on 30th also. Does not even show that the Charlotte PO has scanned it...just electronic information received. So much for Priority Mail, which has been spot on with all my previous orders.

Actually there have been several customers with the same issue from shipments on the 29th and 30th. I guess USPS just had a couple of bad days and didn't bother to scan everything correctly. However, packages are still being received on time, so it could be worse I guess.
