Started vaping with cig-a-likes, moved to pen style and on to tube mods. Stayed on the tube mods for quite some time, but have always wanted to try a box mod.

Decided I needed a good back up piece and found a deal on the MVP 20W. Got it this morning (I love the smell of vape mail in the morning!) and I am in love with the feel of holding a box mod. It feels so much more secure and substantial in my hand and fits perfectly.
I wasn't sure I would like the fire button placement, but it works perfect for me as I have always used my thumb to fire my mods anyway.

I drop my mods so much they might as well be little greased piggies in my hands, this will stay firmly in hand and pocket without hitting the ground nearly as often.

I think instead of being my back up, this will now be my go to. Ya know, until I see a shiny new box mod that whispers sweet nothings in my ear.

Glad you've found the box mod light! I finally got a box mod a few weeks ago and I've been loving it. It's so nice to be able to tailor the wattage to your liking.

Although, I found that I like my box mod with my drippers, so I've been using my mech mod with my tank for on the go activities, since it fits in my pocket easier and is easier to hold while driving and shifting.

I hated my SiD... It made my tanks perform way better than an ego, but It always fell over and was like vaping on a light saber (only ever used it in 18650). With box mods they aren't so awkward, they don't hang out of my pocket, and they seem to have a much more natural fit in the hand.
That said I have a few mechs, smpl and 4nine, which I like and are part of my rotation.

Just wait until you feast your eyes on the nearly indestructible beauty of the REO with its integrated bottomfed dripping system. No circuits to fail, so you can literally dunk it in a bucket without worry. Which reminds me, I gotta give mine a bath. ;)

Enjoy the MVP tho! Congrats!

Vaporflask has a prototype built in bottom-fed flask in the works.

Anyways, I got a Sigelei 100w plus (before I knew what I was doing) and I fell in love with it. For me, I'd be better off with a DNA 40 considering a rarely ever go above even 25w, but I love how accurate the sigelei is when it comes to power output. You can actually tell a difference between 21.3w and 21.5w, as miniscule as that sounds. It has some weight to it, but I actually like that. I'd rather it be durable than light. As for convenienve, it is the same exact size as a pack of 100 cigarettes, so not much has changed for me.

Going to wait until the PVA-40 gets released and hopefully grab one; I missed the kickstarter by really getting in to vaping the day after; lol

The only one not getting used is the SiD in the back (I put the zenith on it just for height comparison...) everything else gets regular use, atleast once a week. The Reo Grand is my goto most of the time, but if I want a flavor that doesn't go good with the juice in my Reo I use my Hana clone. Copper smpl is for fog and 4nine is for stealth (18350).

Oh I have been drooling over the REO since I saw it! Sadly I have a broken down car and a crapped out computer that are taking precedence over the high end gear right now. :(

But some day it WILL be mine! :D

I went from Egos to an MVP and now I have a Flask. After watching friends' tube mods repeatedly fall over and roll away on a table so many times I can confidently say I'm a box mod girl for life.

Box mod guy here.

But yeah, from the moment I got my Sigelei 50W mod the tube mods saw their usage plummet. Hell I couldn't even be bothered to RMA my Sigelei 30W tube mod that died at 1 week old because I knew I'd never touch it, I just got an MVP2.0 as a backup while I waited for the DNA40s to hit the market and I bought a pair of rDNA40s on the second wave after the guinea pigs had their go at the first production run.

Now and I'm looking at some of the SX330 based box mods, but still I'm holding off a little longer on those for much the same reason I held off a little on the DNA40s. I'll definitely pick up a couple of Dovpo GX-200 boxes to replace my mechanical mods. For what they are and their price point, they are an absolute steal.

Here's a trick: Take the money that you would have spent on cigarettes each day and put it in a jar. Do this religiously. By the end of a month or two, you'll have your REO funds.

I know how finances can kill the desire to buy something nice. A REO is totally worth the investment. Keep your eyes open for deals in the classifieds. They pop up from time to time and deals are there for the taking if you catch them. Good luck, and we'll see you in REOville soon! :toast:
