Box Mod Question

Thank you everyone so much. I don't understand how juice could get to the switch in the non-sealed ones because of the solder at the base of the connector...doesn't that keep the liquid from going thru??

I hate to contradict you, Hoog, but I recently ordered two of your no-switch 2xAA boxes. They do not snap shut. They do have a screw hole, but did not come with screws. I don't know if mine are Eagle ones or Chinese ones, but they look like the ones in the links above.

oops. my bad... I have screws for them and will include them in the future.. thanks badstate for pointing out my erronous ways

There's still some bounce in the rubber o-ring and screwing and unscrewing atties, juice eventually works it's way through.. Not like unsealed or hole not plugged though.. Soldering the hole keeps the leakeage to a minimum.
