BP wont fire any atty/carto

Hey All,

Got my BP about an hour ago. 510 brass/ultrafire batts.....
Batts are good 3.8v and red light comes on to show power. Blue light comes on when fired as it should. It just wont fire anything I put on it. The center post isnt adjustable so Im lost.....................................

??? The center post in the BP should be a phillips screw no? (It's not flathead or Robertson - that's the square right?). That should be adjustable. Check your packaging for it?

There should be a center screw and a small black rubber gasket that goes under the screw. If you're not seeing that in the top cap check the bag/box for those. The BP won't fire w/o them.

yeah...lets hope you didn't lost the screw/o-ring/washer like i almost did-
my wife spotted them in the packaging thank god.

Some cartos I've use required me to raise the screw just a hair. But that was only 1 brand and a quick fix.

I see. There is a screw and washer still in the package . I wish I would have known this. I even read all the material before opening and no mention of the screw/washer not being installed. Im glad I didnt just rip it open because they would have been lost for sure. Oh well installed and all is well.

They are installed but have been coming out during shipping , we are looking into this now .

Whats really funny is that I looked at the post under a mag glass and noticed threads. I do alot of RC stuff and have a collection of really small screws. I found 1 that fit perfectly and tried it and it worked great. I then came back to my post here and looked at all the responses about a screw and washer may be in the package. I looked and luckily it was still there and I replaced my screw with the correct hardware.

I also noticed the man.# and I guess the black isnt that popular because I got 003. Great idea on putting that on each unit, This way there is no question which model/revision etc.... everyone has.

Anybody looking for a Prodigy V2?

I received my Buzz (057) about two weeks ago. The screw and washer were installed.

My top screw was in place as well, just little loose.

My top screw was really loose when I received it. I tightened it back up when I got it.

I have also been having trouble with the button not firing with freshly charged batteries inside. Is there any trouble shooting tips I can try? There is a screw underneath the top cap, should that be tightened too?

Make sure the bottom cap is tight , this is a switch , there is a screw on the inside but we now lock tight it so it should be tight , to check it follow the instructions in the " replacing the top cap " thread please so you do not break the wire inside .

Mine came in premo condition. It is really tight if you know what I mean.
