bran new mod troble plz HELP!!!

i just got 2 coustom 6volt mods in the mail the same day as myTR-001charger and cr2 15270 3.0 volt batteries (8 of them) and the 1 mod dont work at all, and the other only works about 75% of the time, seems when it does work on fresh set of batteries, it works for about 1 hour be4 it stops working, then when we do change the batteries it cuts off after 1 or 2 seconds for about 30min. then it starts to work again for maybe 1 hour, then the proccess starts all over again.

so can some1 give me a solution, or i prefer to be pointed in the right direction of a inexpensive 6volt mod that is reliable, as i need 2 of them and cant afford to spend 80 or 100 bucks a pop on them. plz help as im scared ill be back in analog if i cant sort this out soon, and i hate analogs.....HELP PLEASE!!

they are flashlight mods, the guy who built them (an not going to say who) told me he tested them both out for 24hours each to make sure they worked, but im having no luck getting them to work like they should, the 1 is going to get rebuilt for me, but am not sure if i have to send the other back also, or if i can find one that are not a crap load of money and are reliable ill just get a refund and go with them.....just dont know where or who if at all have mods that are cheap enough for me

with two bats yes they should anyways you could always pick up the maxi roughstack from madvapes full 3 month warranty takes 2 16340's at 800mah and its free shipping sadly its a WHOPPING 50 bucks lol i mean cant beat it its 510 native so check it out heres the link

Ive read some good reviews on the roughstack. Not a bad plan. Could go with a bartleby or 2. I think someone is selling a 5v bartleby for like 35 bucks.

I'd recommend the Rough Stack. You current charger will work with which ever battery configuration you decide to use with it 18650 for 3.7v, 2 x 16340 for 6v or 2 x 18350's for 7.4v It's as bullet proof as it gets as far as mods go with a user replaceable switch if that should ever need to be done.

The only negative I can think of that someone MIGHT have with it is it's not purdy. It's a steel pipe with a 510 connection and switch fitting but that's it's attraction to me anyway. A take anywhere mod that you don't have to worry about dropping on any hard surface or running over it with the car for that matter.

3v batteries cannot be charged on a tr-001 charger unless it has a switch that will change from 3.7v to 3v. I may be wrong, don't think I am though. You need a charger for 3v batteries. I have the tr-001 and an ultrafire wf-138 switching charger I picked up from ikenvape.
You may be overcharging your batteries. If that is the case-you could do damage to you and your mods and the batteries.
Adding: The wf-138 is for 3v and 3.7 and it has the switch on the side to choose which voltage the batteries are labeled.

I would be lead to believe that the problem is with your charger, the tr-1 will only charge 3.7v batteries,16340 to 18650, and all sizes in between... What you need is a tr-15270 charger for those batteries.

This also sounds like a battery issue to me, get the right charger see how that wokrs out for you. Although at this point you could of over-cooked your batteries also

You are not going to get great battery life @ 6V using 2x1520, 600mAh battery I would think 2 hrs would be around max. Using my Indulgence @ 6v with 2x16340, 1000mAh batteries & HR attys I get maybe 3hrs use.

I believe some CR2's will not consistently fire some atty's at 6v (e.g. stock Joye 510's) as the current draw at 6v is too great for them. A 510 atomizer (assuming 2.4 ohms) will be trying to draw 15 watts at 6v! What atty are you using? Specific high voltage/high resistance atty's are likely to be less of a problem. And yes charging 3v batteries with a 3.7v charger is dangerous and could result in an explosion - do not do it. The batteries you've charged could already be damaged. I'd hate for this to be the making of the latest battery explosion on the forum.

Chalie_Champ, please dispose of those batteries. It is not worth the possible damage that may occur for the small amount it will cost to replace those batteries.
If you want some real good info on batteries read the posts made my Drozd and or Switched. Or perhaps even pm them. I do know there is a write up on batteries at ikenvape.com that makes for a great read.

just to clarify the 3.0 volt battery issue.. there are 2 types of 3 volt cr2 batteries. One type is native 3 volts and requires a specific charger. I know tenergy and some others make this type of battery.

The other type, typical of ultrafires and trustfires, is an actual 4.2 volt li-ion battery that has it's output regulated down to 3 volts.. The 2nd type will work fine on all standard 4.2 volt li-ion chargers..

I've got a few of these, they are AFAIK li-ion (3.7v internally) and not lifepo4 (the native 3v type). I've only ever charged them on a 3v charger, and they seem to charge fully, outlasting the Tenergy RCR123A etc.

wish I knew a bit more about the differences but the 17335 appears to be a regular li-ion batt. A lot of the chargers out there now are smart chargers and somehow sense the battery and the capabilties that it will charge to. I know some of the newer chargers are multi-volt and will charge 1.2, 1.5, 3.0, 4.2 and 9.0 volt batteries but not sure how the chargers determine the capacity
