1.) What was your very first mod? Voltage, Battery type, Box or tube, etc.
First mod was an AdapteveR. It could do 3.7/6/7.4v.
2.) Was it worth what you paid for it?
Absolutely!
3.) Did you end up upgrading, downgrading, or buying another of the same mod?
I upgraded to the Silver Bullet. Was and still is a must have for any mod collection!
4.) If given the option, in hindsight, would you get the same mod again knowing what you know now? Or would you have gotten something else?
I would've bought the same thing.
5.) Why do you like or dislike it, and what would you change about it if you could?
Nothing to dislike about it at all.

3.7 v 18350 tube mod - Personalized BUTTERFLY Little Chuck.

2.) Was it worth what you paid for it? Yes

3.) Did you end up upgrading, downgrading, or buying another of the same mod?
Upgraded to a REO Grand once I discovered I LOVE bottom feeders.

4.) If given the option, in hindsight, would you get the same mod again knowing what you know now? Or would you have gotten something else?
Gotta learn by trial and error so I probably would still get it.

5.) Why do you like or dislike it, and what would you change about it if you could?

It works very well for what it is designed for so no, I wouldn't change it.

Thanks for all the great responses. Keep it up guys this could turn into a great thread. I'm torn between about 4 mods (heavily leaning towards the glv3 mini but noone knows how much it costs or exactly when it'll be out.) Keep it going. I may even switch my pick to a reo after reading all of these positive posts.

While you're at it, you might also want to ask folks what their 'best' mod is. First isn't always best.

1.) What was your very first mod? Voltage, Battery type, Box or tube, etc.
REO Woodvil, 3.7v, 18650 batt, box bottom-fed

2.) Was it worth what you paid for it?
Yes, it was worth it and more!

3.) Did you end up upgrading, downgrading, or buying another of the same mod?
I bought 2 more REO Grands. :vapor:

4.) If given the option, in hindsight, would you get the same mod again knowing what you know now? Or would you have gotten something else?
I would've bought a REO Mini also...I'm waiting to get 1 in the next sale. :p

5.) Why do you like or dislike it, and what would you change about it if you could?
The Woodvil is just a piece of art in itself. The Grands are built like tanks. All of them keep me away from analogs and are very efficient...6mls of juice and a fresh 18650 batt is hassle-free vape heaven all day everyday. :D

Good luck in your search!

1.) What was your very first mod? Voltage, Battery type, Box or tube, etc.

Roughstack from Madvapes was my first mod. 3.7 VT uses a 18350 batt.

2.) Was it worth what you paid for it?

Without a doubt worth every penny. Its a very reasonable priced mod.

3.) Did you end up upgrading, downgrading, or buying another of the same mod?

I still have it and still use it althought its not my primary mod of choice. I later added the longer tube to make it a maxi so I could use the longer lasting 18650 batts. I've not chosen to, but I can do 6 VT with the longer tube with different batts if I wanted to.

I never presumed that as long as I liked mods that the Roughstack would be the only mod I would own. I've since added to my mod collection an Infinity, a VYPR-SS, and a Turbo.
4.) If given the option, in hindsight, would you get the same mod again knowing what you know now? Or would you have gotten something else?

No regret for "me" of making the Roughstack my first mod. It was a good introduction into mods at a great price which why I chose it as my first mod. I love using it when I'm outside doing yard work and working in the gardens. Its very comfortable in my hand. I don't use it often as my everyday vape. 3.7 VT vaping has a placing in my vape world but its not my top preferred voltage. I never presumed the Roughstack would stay my only mod when I purchased it. IF I had been purchasing a mod that I intended to be my only mod for 6 months to a year then hindsight would be telling me I probably should have picked a different mod. I love my Infinity for the ability to do variable volt vaping which I really enjoy a lot. I like the VYPR-SS for its size and abitity to do easily do 3.7 or 5 VT vaping with a simple change of batt.

5.) Why do you like or dislike it, and what would you change about it if you could?

I'd change nothing about the Roughstack. Its solidly built and works exactly as advertised.

Precise P18 - tube 3.7 - 6v 18650

2.) Was it worth what you paid for it?

Yes - absolutely

3.) Did you end up upgrading, downgrading, or buying another of the same mod?

Bought a couple GGTS and a Phidias Feedimus, tried a few others.

4.) If given the option, in hindsight, would you get the same mod again knowing what you know now? Or would you have gotten something else?

Going to buy the Shockwave when it comes out. If it had been available at the same time, would have bought the Shockwave instead due to the bigger battery and looks, would still always have an all mechanical mod. Nothing to go wrong w/it. SuperT has the best machining of all and a lifetime guarantee. Great simple mod for the first time buyer especially

5.) Why do you like or dislike it, and what would you change about it if you could?

Change the firing button to turn it on or off
