Ok,,,how many posts do you see like that?
I suddenly,,,literally suddenly,,,find myself needed to move to DIY.
PG has started giving me hives,,,,and amazingly after 45 years of PAD ++ smoking the nic in vaping is really bothering my mouth and throat etc,
I know,,,time to quit everything,
But I'm finding now that nic wasn't the only thing I loved about smoking,,,in fact possibly only a small part of what I enjoyed,
After some experimenting I find that pure VG with it's warmth and vapor and whatever else it gives can satisfy me most of the time although after a while I definitely need,,,crave,,,want,,,the nic hit and th as well,
Anyway,,,,
I've figured that I can flavor pure VG for some of my vaping and mix some of my flavored VG with 100% VG juice flavored the same with juice to cut the nic to something that will satisfy the addiction but not kill the throat or numb the tongue and lips and still be really economical but it would really make more sense to mix my own VG with flavoring and nic to what I need at any given time,

My question really is where do you buy Nic juice for DIY? I've only found places in China and I don't want to go there mostly because it takes too long to get,
Also,,,is it better to get 100mg and cut it? (makes sense to me) or get 48 and mix that????

Box Elder Chemical Supply Company is based out of Utah i believe, and the prices are pretty nice 80 dollars for my nic juice minus shipping. I ordered my nic juice from here and it is excellent quality. They also give you a choice of PG or VG. I bought 100mg/ml nic juice 250ml, it was packaged very securely, lots of bubble wrap, and in a ziplock baggy incase of leaking, i appreciated that a lot....it should last me quite a while since i use a lot less to make my 12mg and 18mg strengths. Guessing 250ml will last me 6 months to a year based on the amount my hubby and i vape a day. They offer nic strengths ranging from 48mg to 100mg..great for if you arent comfortable working with 100mg.

ONLY negative about this supplier is the shipping cost is about 13 dollars which i thought was pretty extreme for an 8 oz bottle.

That's my opinion too. I think it's deceptive too, since a first time customer won't discover the extra cost until they're nearly done with checkout.

Another thing about Box Elder (and Gourmet Vapor unflavored nic, same stuff) is that the VG nic contains between 5 and 10% water by my estimation, making it noticeably thinner than the nic you will get from Xtreme or MFS. This can be an advantage or a disadvantage, depending on your preference.

I don't know why, but every VaporRenu juice (pre-mixed) I've gotten,,,about 5 different ones,,,has a sort of weird chemical or petroleum taste to them. I've tried steeping them but even after a couple of weeks it is still there and I just can't vape them,
Based on my past experience, limited though it may be, I would have to stay clear of VaporRenu
