Brand new battery fried?

Well I got a new Riva 510 steel battery in the mail today and I charged it and it was working very well. Then I took the bridge out of and old crappy atomizer and put it on my new battery. I pushed the button and there was a spark and now the battery is screwed up. The LED will not come on for any reason and any atomizer I hook to it automatically heats up, like the battery is constantly on. Is there any way I can fix this or did I totally ruin the battery?

sounds like it now has a direct short. I doubt there is any way to fix it

I agree. However before you ditch it, try cleaning the battery connector end thoroughly. May have gotten something in it which is connecting between the center post and outer wall of the battery. Worth a try.

It's fried be causious as there still power going through it. Same thing happened to me today
Only 1 battery. Thank god I didn't smoke

Agreed, You might want to check the next atty you debridge with an ohmeter.
