I recently bought an E-cig about a month ago. Now every time the battery is not connected to anything, the blue light is constantly on, but when i attach the atomizer/inhaler to it and push the button, the light flashes 8 times and no vapor is released. Is my battery broken? If so, any ideas on how to fix it?

Sounds like the atomizer device was twisted down on the battery with too much force. Battery is shorted.
Is it your only battery?

yes it is my only one, do i need to order a new one? if so do i need to order another atomizer or battery?.. or both?
How long have you been using that atomizer? If you burnt it out the battery will flash and refuse to fire.
If the light is constantly on when the battery isn't connected, it would presumably be the battery that's broken.
We are not sure what you may be using, so it's difficult to determine if the atomizer is faulty as well.
However, As you will hear ad infinitum here - ALWAYS HAVE A BACK UP (or 6)

if ti is an automatic there is a chance the valve is gunked up with juice and you can try cleaning the top with some alcohol and a qtip. get it wet to work down into the auto switch
other then that it sounds like the switch is stuck an it is probably toast

Can you kind of flick the button to make it stop? I agree that it sounds like the button is stuck or shorted out.
