Brand new carto tastes badly burnt

Ive been using clearos and just got a pipe mod that came with a carto tank. I tried filling up the carto tank and tried to vape it and got the most disgusting burnt taste. Then i read of the "condom method" for filling the carto and tried that. It still tastes burnt.

My question is did i ruin the carto? Like once you burn it it will never be the same?

Fantastic. Wasted a carto and more importantly a good 5 mills of some great juice.

It takes a learning curve..the way I prime my cartos is I drip the liquid and then gently blow into it. I repeat this process still I see juice coming out of the holes...this way you know its fully saturated. I then put it in the tanks and take a couple of dry pulls and then start it out low voltage for the first few puffs...works every time. It will be a little flooded to begin with but that clears out quick.

Soaking cartos is very important.

You don't have to lose the juice in the tank - just pour it back in the bottle. The carto, as you know, is no good now.

Yeah I left out one slightly embarrasing bit of info... I kept squirting more juice in the carto while it was attached to the pipe bowl (the battery holder). I kept wondering why it wasn't getting any fuller.

"Hmmm this is odd, it keeps taking more juice without getting fuller'

Then it started leaking all over the desk and I opened it up and spilled the whole bowl worth of juice out.

I had issues with my first cartotank cart...it just would not prime....and yes, once burnt, it's burnt

a few methods....
first is from ibtanked and once I filled the tank and pushed (the still dry cart) into tank bubbles started flowing asap

next is bad's method...

and if your tank isn't a dct you can try ocey's hot swap method to change carto without emptying it out
