What Clearo are you using? Sounds like the coil isn't getting any juice but it should be glowing really quick if it's dry and getting proper voltage. If you've tried adjusting the seals I don't have any more ideas without knowing more details.

Have you got a way to check the ohms? It could just be a dud.

Did you rinse it out with water and not dry it? It takes a long time to burn the water out and wick the juice in.

i agree make sure wicks are dried of water...also make sure battery doesnt have any juice on it..clearomizer flood and the juice goes down and out the air hole onto the bat making a weak connection, which results in the coil not getting enough power

Make sure the atty head is still screwed in tightly. Removing the top cap a few times can turn the head and give it a bad connection.

I have a number of even inexpensive clearos and they work a treat for me. What brand/style are you using, and with what kind of battery and juice? Defintely sounds like a wicking issue at first glance. That can be remedied unless the clearo itself is faulty, but I doubt that if it doesn't leak and the coil fires.

Edit: one thought is that the rubber seal at the top of the atomizer head is coming down too far and choking off the wick and juice supply. Check that. If it is the case, then try and remove it, trim the bottom with scissors a bit, but not a lot.

I tried two of the ones like you bought and liked them enough to add three more to a juice order from another vendor. Those three turned out to be the short wick version. They work just as well. One of the original two developed a hard pull and less than optimal vapor after about five or six tanks. It got used as a bacon flavor guinea pig and tossed.

Don't let one bad one throw you off. That's about par for this stuff anyway.

Hahahaha 'bacon flavored guinea pig'. Classic.

Ya know, all of this stuff is basically mechanically static stuff. If something isn't working right, there is a reason. If it's disposable, throw it away. If it's a reusable investment, some homework is needed. Everything is fixable, even the cheap stuff. Just takes a little effort and all the bad things will do away.

Another thought came to mind last night, and I think someone else already mentioned it. You may have accidentally flooded the atty inside. I did this myself, which is why I thought to post a follow up. I had an otherwise good working one running out of a favorite juice last night. I deliberately vaped it nearly dry and then refilled with another flavor. I refilled it while watching tv. It was sort of dark and my precision with the dropper tip was not ideal. Plus I over-filled it by a little. It acted dead when I started trying to use it. I could hear it sizzling and it got hot, but no vapor. I came --><-- this close to tossing it and grabbing a new one. But the tv show was riveting and instead I just sat there trying it over and over. Eventually it came back to life. It probably took 10-15 minutes of hitting it hard before it produced anything, and another 10 before it was producing acceptable vapor.

Flooded the crap out of it from user error.
