Brand new SS Joye 510 Atomizer dead- help?

Hi folks,

I've been analog free now for 3 weeks on the Joye 510 and loving it. I have decided I much prefer the stainless steel batteries and atomizers as they don't lose color/show scratches and feel nice and look pretty slick also. I orderd 2 SS atomizers recently and also got some Vermont Vapors VG flavors as well, and decided to drip directly onto the atomizer. Went to drag on it, and nothing. Now prior to dripping onto the atty, I'd used the same atomizer for a couple days no problem. Now it is just dead, produces no vapor at all. So questions: 1) is this something that happens with Vermont Vapor liquids? I've dripped direct with others without issue before. and 2) Is there something I can do to bring that atomizer back from the dead? Much appreciated!

Tim

You may have overdripped and flooded the atomizer. I drip 3 drops at a time. Sometimes I can get away with 4, but 5 drops usually floods.

I have no reason to think that Vermont Vapors juice is a problem, per se. If that particular juice was very thick, it may have clogged the atomizer.

Whether clogged or flooded, blow out the atomizer by blowing through the the battery hole end into a paper towel or tissue. Strong and steady (like you were inflating a balloon) several times until no more juice comes out. Then put it back on your battery and see if it vapes. If not, see how MoobyGhost cleans his atty:
And, maybe, your atty decided to pick that moment to give up the ghost. [They do that, you know.;)]

Hope it works out for you, Tim!
