Hey guys I just received my brand new Vamo in the mail. It worked for a whole three hours it worked in 18350 mode and in 18650 mode no problem. Then it showed the LO message so I thought the battery was low. Changed it for a fresh one and the same message showed up. Hmm that's weird... could have swore that battery wss fresh off of the charger. Long story short I have tried every battery I own and still get the LO error. By the way the batteries work fine in my Z-max. I am really bummed out about this.. anyone else experience this and if so is there a fix?

whatever you're attaching to it probably has a resistance too low. try to check the resistance of it using it's ohm meter.

Yeah I thought the same thing but it does it without anything attached to it to and the cart works well on the z-max it measures@ 2.9 ohms

I had the same problem on the first day. Pulling the post on the Vamo worked at first, but after almost a week no amount of pulling or nudging the post would get rid of that "Lo" error. Called Smoktek and found out that they have had 11 returns with this problem out of around 500 sold. Got an RMA and store coupon for postage reimbursement. Great CS at Smoktek. Just wish I didn't have to wait for a round trip through USPS.

Also there are 2 Lo messages. One has the ohm symbol next to it which means a shorted device or one with too low of a resistance. The other Lo which I had has nothing next to it and not sure what it means except that the Vamo will not fire.

How do I pull the post? I'm sorry but I'm having this same issue and I don't really know what that means.

Hey guys have tried stretching the spring, and other springs nothing. I am pretty sure it is a board issue. By the way LO ERROR I get has a V next to it not a ohm simbol. Really bummed out good thing that I have my Z-max or I really would be up --it Creek without a paddle

If you look inside the 510 connector on the Vamo you'll see the positive connection surrounded by a silicone insulator. When I received mine, the positive connection was buried in the silicone at an angle. Because of the Lo error I thought the connection was possibly shorting out (used a fresh battery and a known good atty). I used a small flat head jewelers screwdriver to gently raise and straighten the positive connection and the Vamo started working. This bandaid only lasted around 5 or 6 days though.

Usually post pulling means slightly pulling the positive post on an atty or carto so it makes a connection.
